This is a great phone system! One of the best features, that I wasn't even aware of until they arrived, is that the phones don't use the typical battery packs that are impossible to find or too expensive to replace. These phones use normal, NiMH rechargeable AAA! I buy new cordless phone systems every 3 years because the phones won't hold a good charge anymore and the replacement battery packs cost more than new phones (if you can even find them). The fact that these phones use normal, easily replaceable batteries is a huge deal for me. That one feature alone makes up for the slightly higher cost of entry because I'll make up for it in a 3 years, but these phones also have great features and work very well that also make the price worth it. With all of the features that these phones come with, I don't foresee the need to replace the phone system for a very, very long time. Adding new handsets to the system is incredibly simple. There are some features that are more complicated to use that you will have to reference the manual for, but that's only because it can do so much. Basic functions are easy and intuitive. Call quality is good. The Link2Cell feature was a requirement for me, and it works well. The cordless range is very good, even without the optional extender. If you have a wired headset plugged into the headset jack, then you cannot use the speakerphone. I was hoping to leave a headset hooked up to the phone for longer calls, but use the speakerphone for shorter calls, and that doesn't work well. The speakerphone quality is okay. The microphone picks up people on the other side of the room, which is good for me, but could be bad for others. I haven't actually been on the other side of a speakerphone call, but my wife tells me it echoes a bit, but that could be because I have it mounted on the wall. Overall, I am very pleased with this phone system and very glad I purchased it. I fully expect to use it for 10 years or more.

This is a great phone system. I have two phone lines (yes I still want a landline in my house) one I use for my personal use and the other for business. I have purchased other brands of phone systems similar to this in the past and they were terrible. The issues with the others systems were too many to count. I took a long time researching a new phone system and I very happy I picked this one. Here is what I love about this phone: 1. It works as it should 2. No crazy bright blue light on it showing it's charging. My previous phones systems all had this and I didn't like it. This has a display on the face and when I pick up the hand set is the only time it lights up. 3. You can hear people on the other end. Both on the main base and on the cordless handsets. 4. Re-playing a message is easy. So is deleting a message. 5. CID is easy 6. Editing a number from CID is easy 7. It has a cool feature that after 2 or 3 rings it will announce who is calling. When I'm not right near a phone it helps me determine if I wan to run to pick up the call. 8. The batteries seem to last a long time. Cons: 1. Challenging to set up your outgoing VM message. 2. Ok not a big a thing but I did purchase a head set to plug into my cordless phone and the rubber thing on the side where you plug the head set into is difficult to move. I sometimes have to use a butterknife to unplug the rubber piece. The jack doesn't seem to work too well. I did purchase the headset that was recommended to go with it. Overall I recommend this phone to anyone.

We use Comcast Business internet and its phone service starting in June. Our old AT&T phone system was not working well. Comcast Business phones does not allow us to block spam/crank calls in spite of supposedly having a system. Nor does it allow us to use NoMoreRobo calls as plain Comcast did. So we were swapped with spam/crank calls. This unit can block a lot of calls (it "ain't" that easy), more on that later. The setup using the fast set up system card was easy and worked well for the base phone and the remote. The quality of the phone calls is excellent, and the remote works in our home and outside. However, that was the last easy thing with this phone. As noted by many other users, the instruction booklet is over whelming and complicated. I did programming in the 1960's for business and the Navy. We were among the first to have a home pc. We have used Android Phones since they came on the market. The same with Android or Amazon Fire tables, Ace Chromebooks and a Win 10 laptop. So we are not virgins re tech stuff. Again, the instruction booklet is terrible to deal with. One of our grandsons is the IT guy for his family, neighbors, friends, classmates and his old grandparents when we need help. He carries a portable Mac, I phone and an Apple tablet to his classes at a private school and uses them everyday for classwork, homework and to communicate with friends everywhere. After a frustrating hour with the instruction booklet, he gave up. We finally are able to block spam/crank calls but you have to go through a fairly complex protocol for each number, versus just pushing a button on the main phone or remote to block the calls. There are a ton of supposed options to use with the phones, again the instructions are too complex. In summary, the phones were easy to set up and are reliable and come back on if there has been a power failure or a break in the Internet. We would probably prefer being mugged than dealing with the Instruction Booklet. A humorous thing is when someone calls, a voice on the set in not that great of English tries to tell us who is calling in a flat SE Asian nasal tone with miss pronounced words. We and guests laugh at this butchering of English. The funnest is when a friend who is named Christopher calls. The phone announcer with that funny accent/tone tells us that Christ is calling.

Only had the phone for a day and already love it the corded phone is very clear even on speakerphone answering machine works well , Bluetooth also works very well sounds very good, people say I sound good also, buttons are fine nothing wrong with them, the cordless phone is very good sound quality is quite good wide variety of ringtones that all sound good , caller id works fine , one of my favorite things is 3000 entry’s which is very good for a phone system absolutely love that , also love the hold music , it’s easy to use taking caller id is a great function and works well, the phone has tons of great features , you can also buy more handsets which I will do in the future, overall the phone is great

I thought I hated our existing VTech system. This Panasonic system is FAR worse. The lowlights? - Fragile-feeling, chintzy handsets. - The sound quality is terrible. - Every available ringtone is nerve-grating. - Putting someone on hold requires opening a menu and scrolling to the "Hold" option. Who thought that was a good idea?! On the bright side, the range is amazing as long as you stay in the same room as the base. Put more than one wall betwixt you and the base phone, and you can forget about it. The handset might ring, but it won't answer. No, endless adjusting of the various settings did not improve any of these drawbacks noticeably. The glaring "hold" design flaw certainly can't be overcome. I've always been a fan of Panasonic equipment, but this cordless system is a staggering failure front to back. The base phone itself is quite nice other than the dreadful ringtones; unfortunately they don't appear to offer the base separately. So this whole system is being returned... it's actually unlivable in a fast-paced environment with lots of movement between rooms. I've ordered replacement handsets for my aging VTech system instead. I've got a whole new appreciation for it after this.

The sound clarity is wonderful, and these are great for a small office, I previously owned the AT&T 2 line phone system with multiple handsets and a RCA 4 line phone system they still sell under the Motorola name, and the calls were always poor quality with it sounding like 2 soup cans with a string between them but this Panasonic system all the calls sound like a landline and the options are great. The cordless handsets also use 2 rechargeable AAA batteries which are included in the box, but they will be much cheaper to replace down the road as I won't be at the mercy of an expensive soldered and sealed battery kit saving me money when they stop charging

Still getting used to this model since I had been using an older Panasonic KX-TGA931T model for the past 7 years or more. My older phone actually still works, and works good, but what sold me on trying this phone out is the 250 number block feature when my older phone, and most other newer models, are limited to 20 number blocks. Sadly I can't use both for the 250 number block of this model to work and I've tried number blocking devices before but those aren't worth a plug nickel for me since I use this in a business. I'm not fond of the ringtone choices but then again I was used to an older model and it's features. Menu navigation seems a bit more gawky as compared to my older model as far as getting to where you want in the menu/settings. So far... seems to be an ok phone. Speaker phone on the base unit could stand to be a lil louder but that's just my preference maybe... but I can hear ok as long as I stay focused on listening to the other person and not try to multitask too much with my mind. I wish the wireless handsets were a tad thicker at the bottom because when setting down on a table, they're easier to fall over than my previous Panasonic model. Smaller/thinner isn't always a good thing. I miss having a smaller font size on the screens because more could be displayed. I can't comment on the Bluetooth feature and cellphone link up feature since I haven't played with that yet.

I have used a Siemens Corded/cordless for many, many years; it has been quite reliable however with the many wireless devices in the household, the phone has suffered from Wi-Fi interference. I did my research and decided to try the PanasonicKX-TG9582 2 line system which I received yesterday. The Wi-Fi interference is gone! The reception throughout our large house is quite good so far. I was able to pair 2 cell phones without any problems and I must say I am impressed by this technology. I do agree with previous reviews that found: 1. The lack of a hold button on the handsets is a big inconvenience 2. It should be possible to increase the sound more 3. The handset design could be more user friendly 4. The length of the base unit electrical cord is much too short That being said, there is a lot that is very good: 1. Being able to download my iPhone contacts to this unit 2. Being able to connect to my computer with a USB cable to access and call Outlook contacts 3. Being able to set the ringer on the handsets to off during sleep hours 4. Being able to pick up cell phone calls on the handsets 5. The sound is pretty clear with no more interference 6. The speakerphone on the base unit is quite good (I have not yet tried the one on the handsets but I doubt I will use this feature) 7. The amount of fine tuning of features that is possible I will continue to use and test this unit and will report back with any significant findings but so far, so good.

El aparato esta muy bien y su funcionalidad es muy fácil, y no se mucho de esto, llego en tiempo y forma, hay otros equipos que tienen un menor costo y refieren las mismas funciones y son mas económicos, por eso la marca debería de valorar un precio más económico, felicidades al vendedor y a amazon

Needs an adapter for power connection without which the unit deos not work properly. The vendor should inform the same and make this clear.

Calls are clear, the block feature has cut down dramatically those unwanted annoying calls and the base unit is easy to use. I like that I can pair my cell phone with it so instead of answering calls with my cell they all come through on this system, very nice feature (obviously this only works when your phone is within range of the system). Also important to note this system does play a musical tune when people are put on hold. Not sure how to change the tune as yet because this was never mentioned in the manual or online.
