Fabulous Beasts Night & Day Coloring Book

It is a long time since I thought of holding a picture between me and a mirror so I see myself and both sides of a piece of paper. This morning I was checking for symmetry by holding pages of Fabulous Beasts to Bring To Life (2016) up with the night sky background side facing the light and the daylight side facing me with that fainter image as the dynamic backdrop. I have only started adding colors to the picture Gogmagog near the end of the book. I have used iridescent fabric paint to make my pictures more exciting than the clothes I usually wear. For this book I wanted metallic and fluorescent gel pens when my color pencils seemed drab compared to the darkness of the background with fine printed gold lines.I looked through the book to see how much intricate shapes provide the microcosm for filling various parts of each picture. When I was surprised to see so many snakes, I discovered Stheno and Euryale were immortal older sisters of Medusa who could also gaze at someone until he turned to stone. Philosophy can't compete with incredible creatures that shape social fears much more clearly like the art of surprise (you have no secrets from what nobody should know).

These pictures are absolutely breathtaking!!! I got so addicted to the intricate detail that I had to buy her Animals collection! One of the best coloring books I've ever bought!
