Fun, cooperative, teaching game
"Blue Orange Happy Bunny Cooperative Kids Game" is by the Blue Orange company for 2+ players, ages 3+.The premise of the game is that the bunny hops along the path moving to colors according to the roll of the dice. Each space has an associated number of carrots that the players get to pull out of the board. Carrots come in two varieties, carrots for the bunny to score, which have bites taken out of them, and carrots for the farmer, no bites. The carrots also come in three lengths - you guessed it, long, medium, and short. One the bunny reaches the final space, the barn, all the carrots of the two types, one line for the farmer, and one for the bunny, are lined up. If the bunny's line is longest, the players win, if the farmer's line is longest, the game wins.Onto the Dr. Games criteria ...GO/NO GO Criterion• Complexity: (GO) The game is not complex. You roll the dice that reveals one of six colors, and you move the bunny counter to the next space of that color, heading towards the barn. You draw the number of carrots based on the number shown on the spot you land on. There is no real strategic decision-making, but ... it keeps the little angels engaged, because he or she is balancing a lot of ideas. More on this in Informed (below).• Balanced: (GO ) It is a cooperative game, and the farmer can win, but our little players have an advantage. Good message, if you work hard, most of the time you will win. But, life does not always hand victory.• Chance (GO) The game is completely based on chance, but that is appropriate for the game's demographic.• Clarity: (GO) The rules are completely clear.• Reasonable Time: (GO) A fast set of kids can set-up and play in ten minutes.Bonus Criteria• Social: The game is very social. I was surprised at the range of ages that I could get to play together. Everyone had fun. Every time you went to pick a carrot, there were a lot of advisors trying to help.• Unique/Interesting Mechanics: The two types of carrots and three lengths is an excellent mechanic.• Informed: The game does well across the board, but it really shined here. The game features: (1) color matching, (2) counting, (3) measuring, (4) sorting, (5) turn taking, and a host of others. This is an excellent educational game.• Rewards Throughout: yes, every time you pull a carrot, your team gets to keep it.All in all this is an excellent family game if you have younger game players.

Better than Candyland
This is a great first game for a preschooler, but it's actually enjoyable for everyone at the table. We gifted this to our youngest daughter for her 3rd birthday, and her older sisters enjoy playing it with her, too. Unlike many other games aimed at beginners (Candyland, Hi Ho Cherry-o, etc.), this game is enjoyable for the grown-ups. The gameplay includes color matching, number recognition, counting, fine motor skills, sorting, and comparison. The game pieces are fun and durable. My daughter liked helping us decide if the carrot should go to the bunny or the farmer, and our older daughters (7 and 5) had a fun time pretending to be the farmer collecting the carrots and thanking the bunny for not taking bites out of the carrots. I think this will be a game we can play together many times without me wanting to take a break. :)

4yo loved this Easter gift
Cute concept, easy to play (though my daughter makes up her own rules). Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that some of the carrot pieces are difficult to stick in the game board. Other than that it is well designed.

My 4-year-old is obsessed
This game is a little simple to me, but my four-year-old has loved it from the moment she laid eyes on it. Games are quick -- 5 to 10 minutes -- and she understood the instructions immediately. I really like that it's cooperative, so my kid and I are on the same page. Prevents her from whining about me beating her. This is a great game and a great value.

Fun unique game for toddlers
Fun game to play with a toddler. Cute concept and quality pieces. I like that this teaches children to compare the sizes of the carrots to determine which is longer and shorter. One of my favorite games to play with our child. I highly recommend this!

My granddaughter loved it, but arrived missing a token
This was a gift to my 4-year-old granddaughter. We made up our own rules because it arrived missing the farmer token and I didn’t want to take the game away from her to return it. That’s the only reason I’m giving it a lower rating. Otherwise I would recommend the game.

Great for Easter, and all the time!
We originally purchased this for our nearly 3 year old's Easter basket. Given recent events, we decided to go ahead and give it to him to keep him busy. He immediately understood the concept, and we've played several rounds. He always roots for team bunny, but I could easily see this being a teams game. There is also an alternative way to play provided in the instructions, so this one should be fun to keep in our rotation for a while. He struggles a bit with pulling out the carrots, but I can see it getting easier as the foam breaks down a bit from use, and as his fine motor skills improve. We've made it work easily by having him select his carrots for his turn, and pull them out partially for him to remove the rest of the way.
