The design of this SweetLF rechareable shaver is exemplary in both the ergonomics and function. The manuacturers of other electrical devices - kettels, fridges, bedside radios, clocks etc - could learn a lot from SweetLF.I first bought this shaver back in September '21 based on the reviews, and it exceeded my expectations. It was just so easy to use, whether shaving wet or dry, and you could run it under a tap to clean it. Plus it held its charge for ages!However in Jan '25 the shaver, after recharging the battery and after the next shave, indicated it needed recharging again. I reasoned it was most likely a complete failure of the battery and is something that can't be replaced. I still had no inclination to shop around and unhesitatingly bought the same product again. Notwithstanding my experience it still gets five stars because of the product's excellent quality.

TLDR: Excellent value and quality if used as a head shaver, close as a razor without the cuts or irritation!I've had this now for about a year and a half (lol: got round to a review eventually!) and it is superb!Previously I'd used a Mach3 and shaving foams / gels to shave my head. I would always go slowly so as not to get cut, but would still somehow manage to get cut regardless (usually back of the head, bony ridges by the ears - thanks genetics!). Plus I'd often do a two-pass shave; re-lather and shave again; to make sure I got a close and complete result. The whole process would take about 10-15 mins going carefully, rinsing off the blade each stroke.This SweetMF ;-) electric tri-foil came up on a lightning deal (about £30) and I thought "hey, what the hell...". Now twice a week since then it shaves my head as close as the razor, ZERO cuts, takes about 5mins each time and all with no irritation. The battery still holds a charge no problems and the blades are still sharp enough.Unexpected bonus for me - it has little chamber which collects all the hairs, so zero mess! I find I only need to empty this out about once a month. I think if I were even lazier I could probably leave it for longer as there's still room. When I do clean it out, I take the head section apart completely, which is incredibly simple to do, give all the parts and the chamber a thorough clean and then put it back together; all in 2-3mins - though admittedly this time is eyes-open, without the blindfold, dangling lit cigarette between lips and Vietnam-era music of rebellion playing in the background.I thought about spending about twice the amount on one of the branded ones, but tbh I can't imagine them being any better for my needs. With this I've already more than received my money's worth in Hello Kitty band-aid savings and when the blades eventually do need replacing, they are only about a tenner here on Amazon also.Obviously, I'm only reviewing this as a head shaver (have had a short beard throughout owning this) so take that into account if you're looking for a face shaver; but I couldn't imagine this not doing a good job, based on my zero-irritation experience. But if you are considering this as a head shaver alternative to the blood-soaked 'tribal dance of the three razors', I couldn't recommend this highly enough.

I have had this razor for a couple of months now and I can honestly say (so far...) that it is the best razor I have ever owned.The design is sleek and fits the hand like a glove. It also gives an excellent close shave with no skin irritation at all.Cleaning is such a treat compared with other razors that all seem to feature a totally removable head assembly that is often fiddly to remove and even more fiddly to realign and refit. The solution? This razor has a simple 'flip off' hinged head assembly that is opened at the flick of a button. So elegant. So easy.Finally the battery life between recharges is remarkable. I have been using this razor for 2 months now without any sign of having to recharge. Oh! And did I tell you it also has a very useful battery indicator that tells you at a glance when the battery is getting low?So, all in all I am very impressed with this comparably low priced razor which seems to outperform razors many times it RRP. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is that it is yet to prove its rating in the durability factor as I've only had it two months. But, on what I've seen so far, I would heartily recommend this razor to anyone.

So I searched for best men's electric shavers and as a double-edge safety razor and blade user, I couldn't spend as much as they were costing. I just want an occasional time-saver. Some great reviews here, of this product and mine arrived this morning with a plug, usb-cable and cleaning brush, with a good sized handle.Since it arrived fully charged, I ran it over my over-a-day stubble, dry and it provided a good, close shave. I was impressed. No more burn that I often get from blades and a bit of moisturiser and/or post-shave oil sorts that out.For this price, I am very happy. Easy to clean it afterwards and look forward to trying it for a wet shave.No definitive feedback here regarding how long the blades stay sharp; it ranges from months to years. I might get a spare set of blades for the future but in truth, the shaver's current price means you could just replace the whole thing.Only have it a day so I cannot comment on the battery life. The reviews on this topic have been very good, it came charged and seemingly doesn't take long to charge anyway, so I am not concerned.Some type of case or bag would have been good but it doesn't come with one and I bought it knowing this, so I am not going to complain about that.I'll still be using pre-shave oils, soaps, shaving brushes and blades but this will be great for lazy mornings, quick shaves and travelling.
