I'm not mad on peanuts, but they'll do, just won't get eaten as quickly.The image on the box/wrapper gives the indication that there's a caramel layer, there is a very thin layer of something that resembles caramel but it doesn't really have that much taste to it and seems to act like some glue like layer that doesn't really have any purpose. The main layer is rather bland and has a slight taste of peanut to it and also leaves you with a very minor aftertaste which I've come to experience from protein bars.The bars are a reasonable size and you get 18 in a box for £27 so these aren't cheap. I don't buy protein bars usually and I'm sure the fitness buffs out there buy these for a specific purpose, so maybe taste isn't the main bullet point when it comes to buying these things.
