TG268 Thermal Imaging Camera with Spot IR Super Resolution 320x240 (160x120 Native IR) and Bullseye Laser: Commercial Grade Infrared Camera for Building Inspection, HVAC and Electrical

I’ve been using the FLIR TG268 Thermal Imaging Camera for inspections, and it’s quickly become one of my most valuable tools. From the first time I powered it on, I could tell this wasn’t just a basic thermal camera—it’s built for serious, real-world work. Clear Imaging That Makes a Difference The image quality really impressed me. With the Super Resolution boosting up to 320x240, I’m able to spot temperature differences and problem areas much more clearly than I expected. Whether I’m checking HVAC systems or looking for electrical hotspots, it gives me confidence that I’m not missing anything. Precision Right Where I Need It One feature I didn’t realize I’d rely on so much is the Bullseye laser. Being able to point exactly where I’m measuring saves time and eliminates guesswork, especially in tight or complex setups. Reliable, Rugged, and Easy to Use I also appreciate how intuitive it is. I didn’t need a long learning curve to start getting useful results. It feels solid in my hands and holds up well in demanding environments. Overall, this camera has made my inspections faster, more accurate, and honestly a lot more efficient.

Hubby Loves It.

I made this big purchase to help triggering/pinpoint temp. It does that well and it shows a laser for exact placement. On the other hand the image on the screen and the thermo colors of that image don't square up. There may be a calibration setting but I couldn't find it. In other words the thermo color of the object and the actual object on the screen is offset

I can't really give an honest review. So, I gave it a 3-star review because it was DOA right out of the factory sealed package. So, I returned it and bought a different product.

My TG268 came with firmware version 1.1.0. I was trying to do something in the menu and the screen went white and it stopped responding to buttons. It stayed like that for about 15 minutes. I tried multiple ways to reset it. I held buttons and plugged it in to USB-C power, plugged it into my PC, did combinations of holding buttons and plugging it in and plugging it in and then holding buttons.... The screen just turned off after about 15 minutes while I was googling something. Then it turned back on like nothing had ever gone wrong. I updated to 1.1.2 and I haven't seen this issue come back yet.
