Q: Would this work for a 6” turtle?

No, it's very small. We ordered for our slider that is about six inches. It is too small. We also have some very small box turtles 2-4 inches, they love it.

Q: What is the size of the actual platform it self.

3" tall x 10" long x 7 " wide. The platform area is about 6" x 7".

Q: Im looking for a platform for my turtle that is smaller than 11inhes long ( its a 10 gallon tank) but wide opening at the bottom ( he s gotten bigger)

the platform is app 9 inches long and 6 inches wide. it is 3 inches high. the openings are app 3 1/2 inches wide. my turtle is big about 7 inches but he loves basking on this platform and he is constantly rearranging his space.
