I had a problem with one because it was small but I put some heat on it until it fit.

The oring may not sit perfectly in its groove, so to prevent pinching on reassembly you may want to use a little rubber cement or sticky grease to hold it in place. You will want to have a light smear of vasolene or silicon grease on the opposite mating surface.

I had one water filter on my main water, before it goes in my Water Softener, then to all my facets. three years ago my Water Well caved in, and before I had known, dirt had ruined my Water Softener, my Main water storage tank, and fill most of my water lines. None of these items were covered by my home insurance. I had my Well dug another 100 feet deep, and I pumped water 8 to 10 hours a day for three months. I had to buy a new Storage tank, New Water Pump, Piping, wire, and Water Softener. I know have three different Water Filters in my house. Back to my purchasing of 6 O rings. I had to replace one, and I bought it in a multi pack. I could only use one, as all were different size O Rings. Because I currently have three Filter Systems, all use the same size O Ring. Amazon was the best price, verses other companies, and I have replacement O Rings for all. I received very courteous service and I had them in just a few days. I am very satisfied. Thank You John

This is one of those items that one simply must have in good working order, when changing a cartridge filter on a whole house water filter. I saw that the O-ring on my GXWH20F, which I had been using for years without issue was beginning to stretch and would likely fail on the next cartridge change.I ordered one of these Impressa Water Filter Replacement Gasket 6-Packs. When it came time to replace the cartridge, there was no way any of these would fit in and stay in the filter housing groove. They are a couple of mm too small in circumference and though they can be stretched, the O-ring would not stay in the groove of my filter unit. Using the silicone grease just made it worse to slip out of its groove. I tried one anyway and had a gusher at the seal.And yes, the original O-ring on my GXWH20F did indeed fail, when I tried to reuse it during this cartridge change.These things never happen in prime time, as was the case here. It was after 4PM on a Sunday afternoon, and on a holiday weekend to boot. A round of the local stores was looking pretty grim, until I found a replacement (orange big box store) specific to my filter.An Impressa O-ring such as in this pack might work on a brand new GXWH20F, where the cartridge housing has not been in use for some time and the inside edge of the groove is not worn at all. A stretched ring might stay in this case. Maybe. Maybe not. I cannot say.Yet as I wrote in the beginning, when one is faced with this sort of problem in this type of unit, one needs to have the right part instantly at hand. I fault Impressa for making the misleading claim that their product would fit my specific model GXWH20F. I specifically ordered a replacement a full month ahead based on their claim of compatibility ahead of time just to not have this situation. They wasted my money and my time and caused a great deal of inconvenience on a busy afternoon.

Realized I had no spare gaskets. Local stores didn't have any. Found these as right for my GE canister water filter, good value, fit right, arrived quickly. Recommend.

They look identical to the ones I had, have needed them as yet. I used the last one when I changed the filter due to stretching.Delivery was excellent

They seemed a little tight and would easily pop out. My handyman was able to sort it for me, my plumber recommend to use some lubrication when putting them on.

The ring circumference is approximately 2-3 mm too small, and does not form a tight seal.The seller was prompt in offering a refund.
