Bosch PPP6A6B90 Gas Hob - Black [Energy Class A]

I like the raised pan rests and the fact that there is plenty of space to set a pan aside. The controls are easy to use and set your required flame (9 choices). Very controllable I use a glass hob cleaner every few days which polishes the glass up perfectly with a soft dry cloth. It looks very smart with the my Black Bosch oven. A Joy to cook on.

It’s every thing I wanted. Looks great! Little longer to clean after a fry up than a ceramic hob, but worth the effort. I’ll never go back to electric hob

Love this hob which looks amazing in our new kitchen. With 9 settings for flame height you have total control when cooking. Being Bosch I hope for many years of fab food.

Got this for a great price on Amazon (£100 more anywhere else) Great gas on glass stylish hob nice solid cast iron stands and 9 settings for the gas control very happy and looks great

Item arrived badly packed and with big scratches. Had to return it and look for an alternative supplier. Cooker itself is great just Amazon failed delivering it.

I have been using this hob for about 6 months. What I like:The control knobs give very precise heat and will go very low for slow cooking.After (strenuous, 15 minute) cleaning it looks good.What I do not like:Takes absolutely ages to clean, especiallty after a family cooking session. I would not buy this hob again just for this reason. The glass remains smeary no matter how carefully it is cleaned. Think of cleaning windows in sunlight; difficult to get absolutely smear free. Same with this hob.I do not particularly like the way the pan rests stand so high above the worktop. It looks clunky, rather than sleekThe jets are slightly closer together than my last Neff hob so large pans tend to touch each other.The knobs cannot be removed for cleaning in between.The hob will not work if there is a power cut - this is a real nuisance as being able to boil water duiring a power cut is really good. i did not realise this until after installation.I had to buy in a rush as my ancient 20-year old previous hob gave up the ghost just before family get together; I read the good reviews and was persuaded it would be fine; cannot understand how anyone could find this hob easy to clean! Wish I had done more research before buying.
