Worked great in a mountain bike fork...
I have a 2006 Cannondale F2000SL mountain bike with a Headshok. The Headshok is a suspension fork that uses a combination air and oil dampening. Ever since I bought the bicycle second hand in 2008, the suspension had been noisy when locked out and very soft when unlocked.After doing some research, I learned that I could change the oil in the fork and if I increased the weight of the oil in the fork it may perform better for my 230lb body weight. I changed out the oil that was in the cylinder (probably 5 weight) with this oil.When I test road the bicycle, the clunking noises were gone when the fork was locked out, the suspension was noticeably stiffer when unlocked and the adjustable damper (which had not worked since I bought the bicycle) was working.I rode the bicycle a few times and flushed it out again and it's been a far better ride than it ever was.I've got a Harley Davidson FXRS and have always used Bel Ray oil in the forks. Next time I think I'm going to give this oil a try and see how it compares.

LUCAS keeps being my favorite oil brand, it may be a little more expensive than most but is 100% worth it

A good value
Works great for sewing machine lubrication, as that's what I bought it for. Much better value that buying "sewing machine oil", and is the same weight.

Probably good stuff just wasn't closed all the way and some of it was spilled out in the box. Probably a shipping error
