Great for Hawaii vacation with 4 year old daughter
We bought this and a full-face snorkel mask before going to Hawaii, and this was much easier for my daughter to use. I used to live in Hawaii and this was my first opportunity to introduce my daughter to the underwater world. She laid on her belly and kept her face glued to the window while I acted as the motor with my mask, snorkel, and fins on, pushing her around the reef. It provides a rather narrow field of vision, so sometimes it was hard to get fish and turtles into view for her, but overall it was so much easier and felt much safer than the full-face snorkel mask option. I did pick up a sea cucumber to show her once and accidentally toppled her off the raft, so I was glad she had her floaty on. Just an all-around easy and fun experience. Exactly what I was hoping for for her first "snorkeling" experience.Ignore reviews that talk about the window fogging up. We filled the space between the glass panes with water from a spigot before going into the ocean, which made it easier to eliminate all the bubbles. With water filling the space between the glass panes, it is IMPOSSIBLE for the glass to fog up.

Worked awesome!
We took this to Belize with our 3 year old who isn't ready to wear a mask and snorkel yet. This worked GREAT. We did two snorkel trips and she had a blast. The guides helped us go to areas of the reef that weren't super deep so she could see the most coral and sea life. Its a very heavy duty well made raft, a bit heavy for transporting in a suitcase but worth it. Takes some effort to blow up all the sections, and filling the tank with water while floating in the waves can be interesting (you have to make sure the tank is as full as possible for best viewing). Our daughter hasn't stopped talking about seeing the fishes and wanting to go on vacation again. Our daughter is not super adventurous but she stayed on the raft for 90 mins at a time and had zero problems.Update: Took the same raft again to Roatan in 2019, still held air perfectly and LOTS of snorkeling trips were had for our now 5 yr old. She still loves it and I didn't even consider fretting over a snorkel for her. Its a bit cumbersome to get on small excursion boats, but the guides have always allowed it and we just filled up the viewing port with water once we arrived to keep the weight down. Using a cup or bucket really helps to get it full, and some boats even have hoses.Update 2: Took it to Maui in 2021, still worked awesome. 2022, kiddo is finally retiring it, but it worked awesome. A bit hefty to lug around, but worth it for suitcase space versus enjoyment and participation by a cautious young kiddo.

So much fun but the window doesn't dry out
My kids loved this on our trip to Hawaii. The only downside was you fill the viewing window with water and over a month later trying to air it out it still has water in it. I'm hoping it dries & doesn't just get moldy because it's too expensive for single time use.

3 year old loved to snorkel.
Best vacation purchase if going snorkeling. My 3 year old son was able to go snorkeling with us. I didnt fill with water as recommended as we were not staying in one location and wanted less to clean. You can blow up by mouth if no way to pump. We added a longer rope to pull him easier.

Overpriced and you can't see anything
I got this for my 4 year old daughter when we went to Hawaii. The glass would get fogged up and the visibility was terrible. Also she could not even balance on it.

Snorkeled as a family
This was easy to carry in our luggage to Hawaii, well made and fun to take our five year old snorkeling. The only bummer was in order to see the fish she had to be right over them.

Great alternative to a mask and snorkel!
Used this in Hawaii and was able to pull my 5 year old around to look at the fish while I used my mask and snorkel. It took a little effort to get the window chamber filled to the top with water and to get most of the air out, but once it was filled, I could see what was below the water very clearly. Water would occasionally leak out of the window chamber opening when the raft was not completely level, even when the opening was plugged. So I had to refill it every so often, but overall, I am more than satisfied with the experience it provided in seeing what was under the sea without a mask and snorkel!
