Yes it works. No I didn't know if I had tonsil stones but, I did.

Update 1/30/2023: A word of caution to anyone buying this tool. Yes, it works amazingly to remove tonsil stones quickly and painlessly. HOWEVER. Heed my warning, make sure you thoroughly clean/sanitize your attachments between each use and don’t overdo it!! I used this tool to work out a particularly tricky tonsil stone last week. Within 24 hours or so I started to get what felt at first like strep throat. It has held on for several days now and my tonsils have been swollen. I am convinced I inadvertently introduced some bacteria to that area, and/or over worked the area causing irritation and an opportunity for bacteria to develop. Thankfully this is more of an irritation than anything, but as someone who relies on my voice for work, any inconvenience with my voice can mean missed pay which is no good. So please!! Do a thorough job cleaning your attachments between uses. As I’ve learned, running under warm-hot water isn’t enough. And if you have a really tricky stone, try gargling some salt water or leaving it alone for a day. You’ll regret picking at it when it’s not ready.As someone who has struggled with tonsiloliths at least since I was a teenager, this is the miracle tool I’ve always been looking for. The soft but rigid end is perfect for dislodging those painful stones you get in your tonsils. The light that is built in is nice, but I have a poorly lit bathroom so I still need to use my phone’s flashlight when using the tool. Since using the tool, I seem to have a decrease in them overall, maybe because I am better able to clear them out when I notice one. If you struggle with them you know what a pain they are! I only wish I had found this tool sooner.

Easy to use, but would like a longer profile

The tools works for tonsil stones.. however the handheld light is extremely cheap and cannot handle "water" whatsoever. It came with two battery operated lights, which neither lasted longer than a week. I'm not sure if it was using the water syringe with the light, the condensation from my breath or storing it in the case provided in a separate bag underneath my bathroom sink.. but the batteries and the connections all rusted within two weeks of owning it. I understand it's technically an electronic and not supposed to get wet, but never once did the actual light casing get wet. I think it was just poorly made. The tools worked well, but weren't easy to use without light and holding a normal flashlight isn't what I was wanting.

The little clear heads had some sharp edges that hurt too much to actually use. The product it small and lights up like advertised. Someone with tougher tonsils might do just fine!

I had a tonsil stone that I wasn't able to dislodge for over a week. When I saw this removal tool I ordered it immediately, and crossed my fingers that it worked. And it DID! This is so much better than using a Q tip (which rarely does the job). It's easy to use, reaches far enough to keep things simple, and the light is very helpful. Only 2 issues: initially the light appeared dim, but I noticed when I moved the tool around a bit, it got a LOT brighter and I could see the back of my throat very well. Secondly, putting this gadget back in the case did not come easy on the 1st or 2nd swing, but, as they say, 3rd time is a charm :) Definitely worth the money!

This works. It is extremely uncomfortable to dig into your own throat to dislodge the ick. However, the light and the changeable tools make it possible. My breath is better, my sleep is better.

Light is not bright as i would like.
