Ball Mason Jars-16 oz Amber-Set of 4

I bought these to help keep the contents from degrading over time. They are cute little well made canning jars. Too much money just to have tinted but they should do the job.

I have nothing but positive things to say about these mason jars. Sturdy and practical.But, for whatever reason, the only place to get these is through third-party sellers who are charging literally 4x the retail price. A 4-pack of the 32oz version of this jar was selling for $11 at Walmart when they had it in stock. I paid FORTY DOLLARS for four 16oz jars from an Amazon seller. Think about it: I paid for a single jar what a 4-pack would cost at a retail store. If you're willing to live with getting ripped off by re-sellers who grab all of the product from retail stores, then go for it--I did.

The BALL 16-OUNCE JARS arrived in PERFECT CONDITION! They are perfect for my jams and jellies and for gift giving. They are very sturdy (as are all Ball jars) and the wide mouth makes it east to remove the contents from the jar. A "plus" is that the jars are unique in shape and color and have been happily received as a gift filled with treats. Another "plus" was that the shipping and packaging was EXCELLENT! Great care was taken which is immensely appreciated. ANOTHER HOME RUN FOR AMAZON AND TEIR SELLERS!!!

Got my jars today and all arrived intact and original packaging. These Amber jars are impossible to find in any kind of store in southern Michigan, so I had no choice. These will barely fit 16 oz, filled to the lip, and are perfect for storing infused coconut oil. While the prices hurt, my meds must be safe.

Mine didn’t break nor did I have issues of any kind with mine so far. They are as described. They are quite expensive but I really needed them to prepare meds in before surgery. The lid seal smells strong but if you wash and let them sit out for a week it will go away. If you use the sealed lid right away whatever is in the closed container will smell like chemicals. I’m content with my purchase and at the same time still feel a bit ripped off. Oh well at least I got exactly what I needed

Great size and color for my purpose. They fit right in with my decor while being useful. Win win

When these are on sale, it’s a good deal. But $30+ is far too much. Try to special order through TrueValue or Ace Hardware for a much better deal.The first time these shipped, half of the order was smashed. These were so poorly packed, and got jostled to the point of shards. Amazon attempted to fix, but only sent one set instead of 4. Eventually they just refunded the order because the cost went back up to $ridiculous$.I use the jars to store herbs, and specifically seek these out because of the amber glass. They are a great size for an apothecary, and stack ok too. I don’t put liquids inside, so I can’t speak to leak-proof, but they seal well for my dry herbs.
