Clear , clean, unadulterated music as it should be
Schitt products are very good, high quality audio equipment without the overly high price. Made and designed by people who love audio equipment and all here in America. Am very happy with the new pre-amplifier that clearly and cleanly produces any audio source true to the original source. Ment to be a device that does not modify the original source, there are only choices for a few โfiltersโ . Very impressed by the sound quality produced and hearing musical instruments I didnโt know were used. Spacial separation is great, like listening to live performances in your audio room. The digital stepper system of volume control is fine and very accurate, with no annoying static due to design on all Schitt products. Some of the best investments in audio equipment you can make.

The is a great pre-amp at 2 times the price. Best bang for the buck.
Wow! I needed a preamp to work with my Dynaco ST-70 tube amp, which I hadnโt powered up in 12 to 15 years. I considered buying a used preamp, but then I realized that if I had issues, I wouldnโt know if they were caused by the old amp or the used preamp. I searched online and found this Schiit Saga 2 preamp. Iโm usually skeptical about budget equipment because they often exaggerate their specifications and make unrealistic performance claims that never live up to their hype. However, I read several reviews and watched several YouTube videos that seemed to support the Saga 2โs quality. The preamp arrived today, and my first impression was that it was incredibly well-made, heavy, and solid. It felt good in my hands. The small volume knob threw me a bit, but I connected it anyway. The Saga 2 is an excellent companion to my tube amp. The passive/low/high preamp output is incredibly useful. While the difference between passive and low is minimal, the high setting was distortion-free and provided enough output to make the ST-70 truly shine. Iโm retiring my integrated amp and will be using the Saga with the Dynaco as my main system. I was so impressed with the Saga 2 that I bought the Lokius EQ after about two hours of using it. I wanted a bit more clarity from my KEF 102.2 speakers and to reduce some of the 180Hz tubbiness from the ST-70. As an audio collector, I highly recommend this preamp. Itโs an excellent choice.

Very Deluxe Sounding Pre-Amp With A Few Quirks
Uber Deluxe Sounding Audio Pre-Amp With Advanced Volume Control Technology W/ Remote Control - Much Appreciated - However - Unit Does Not Seem To Be Fully - "Baked" - Unit Is Slow When Switching Input Channels With A Three To Four Second Delay Thus Not Suitable For "Dee-Jaying" - Unit Has Options For Three Simulated Output Modes Including Acoustic Sounding - Electronic Sounding - And Combined - There Is Smooth Transition Between Acoustic & Electronic - But There Is A Somewhat "Jarring" Jump In Volume Level - So - A Few Pesky Quirks - But Always Excellent Audio . . .

This Is Some Good Schiit
The quality and sound of this Schiit Saga 2 is a bit ridiculous for the price. It's a solid piece of gear. And it easily replaced the sound quality of a beloved 25 year old NAD pre-amp that has gotten too fussy for daily use. I'm a new fan of this Schiit and plan to add one of their amplifiers soon. If you care about audio quality and value, this is a great choice. And it works great with a good streamer or CD player.

Schiit SAGA 2
The Schiit Saga 2 is a gem. I have several other Schiit products including a Kara F. For SE use, the Saga 2 is fantastic. The smaller size is much more flexible for placement than a full-size preamp. I have it paired with a Modius E and Vidar 2. I am a fan of the stepper relay-controlled volume. Very Accurate. Forkbeard option is OK. I think it will take a while to mature. Don't really use it so much. Then again, I have one input, and volume is usually set around 1 o'clock. Gain is 1x. Clean sound.

Sounds great.
Love the preamp. Love being able to switch between passive and active volume. Use the gain with my project tube phono preamp. Use the Ballance outs to drive the subs and the RCA to my Tube amplifier. What an incredible value. You have got a winner here. May look into their phono preamp. Keep it up!
