Confession: Gel Over Fruit
Those diced pears and peaches shore up the argument that this is a healthy dessert. I don’t care. The black cherry gel gets me every time. Yeah, it’s just flavored water and pectin and sugar to make it jiggly, but you’re reaching inside my brain for a memory that traces all the way back to my childhood. Dole figured it out, and I’m not trading my four-ounce container with anyone.
