Q: How many washes does it last?

I wash my hair every 3 days. It lasts 30 days. Me washing my hair every 3 days.

Q: Do you have to wash the hair after applying the hair root color?

Yes you rinse the color out. Shampoo and use conditioner.

Q: Why do some boxes say permenent and others demi?

Root Touch Up by Natural Instincts is a permanent product. 0% Ammonia, 100% Gray Coverage, and coverage in just 20 minutes. We do also have Natural Instincts, an all over Demi Permanent color. Blends up to 30% gray hair and enhances ones natural color.

Q: Will shade #7 make my dark hair lighter?

Hello! Thank you for contacting us. The Clairol Root Touch-Up by Natural Instincts does not lift the hair. This product will not make your dark hair lighter. If you wish to lighten your dark hair prior, please call our toll free number at 1-800-252-4765 to speak to one of our color experts.
