Sturdy, does not tip over.
This works great. The plastic is sturdy- does not crack when dropped. And the height is just right - low enough that there are no worries about it slipping and sliding when being used.

Simplistic useful
This does as advertised. No bells or whistles here. Just a hand juicer that gets every last drop there is.

Perfect for smaller oranges
This is a combination review of two citrus juicers, the Japanese Plastic Grapefruit Lemon Lime Squeezer #1410 (ASIN: B004K6TIM6) and the Kai DH3017ENG Select 100 Grapefruit/Orange Squeezer (ASIN: B0009WCILS). I've owned the Japanese Plastic Squeezer for three months and the Kai for two months. I've used one or both daily, and also have used a traditional glass juicer for comparison. The Kai and Japanese Plastic are both excellent, though after using both for several months, the Kai serves my needs better. I juice primarily navel oranges, for which the Kai is definitely superior. However when I've used Valencia oranges, the Japanese Plastic Squeezer worked better. I haven't yet tried lemons or grapefruits, but based on my experience so far, if you juice navel oranges or grapefruits, the Kai is the better choice for you, and if you juice smaller fruits, the Japanese Plastic is the better choice.I've given the Kai five stars because it's nearly perfect at what it does. My only quibble is that it doesn't hold a lot of juice, but for a single person like myself it's not a problem.I've given the Japanese Plastic only four stars. This is primarily because of the extra part it has for juicing larger fruits such as grapefruits. There are several problems with it, apart from the minor nuisance of having an extra part to clean. The problems are 1) the top is smooth, which both makes it hard to start juicing a large fruit and make it harder as you're finishing to get at the top part of the fruit and 2) it's a little too sharp and reams out too much of the parts of the orange I don't want in my juice. It is however overall an excellent juicer, especially for the price I paid (about $5.20).Before buying these, I had planned on buying a power juicer, but after reading reviews I realized that not only are they more expensive, but they tend to break and to be a nuisance to clean. My previous experience with manual juicers was only with the traditional glass juicer, which I knew I did not want to use. The Kai at about $26 seemed outrageously expensive for something that I feared might not be any better than the old glass juicers, so I ordered the Japanese Plastic first because it's so cheap. It was so much better than the glass juicer that I went ahead and ordered the Kai.I've tried juicing navel oranges with both a traditional glass and with the Kai and the Japanese Plastic. I found two problems with the glass juicer: 1) The ridges weren't high and sharp enough to really do the job, and 2) there wasn't enough depth to juice a large orange. The glass juicer might be fine for lemons or limes, bit definitely not a navel orange. My recommendation: if you juice lemons, limes, or small oranges, buy the Japanese Plastic. It's an incredible bargain for under $6. If you juice larger fruits, get the Kai. It's a ceramic gem that should last you a lifetime (if you don't drop and break it). If you do both type of fruit, buy both. I did and I'm glad I did.

Top quality product
This juicer is a top quality product. It can be felt from the moment you take it in your hand.Very solid. Also it is easy to use and clean. I don't understand some other people that complain about difficulties of juicing small or large citrus. The removable yellow attachment is specifically made for juicing large oranges or grapefruits. Without it, any small sized orange, or even mandarin, can be easily juiced.Japanize manufacturers usually put a lot of touts into designing their products. I will definitely recommend this juicer. 👍👍👍

Best manual juicer!!
This is hands down the best juicer for grapefruit. I've tried many others, but their cone seems adequate for lemons, key limes, small to mediums oranges at best; large oranges and grapefruit they can't. This thing can juice larger grapefruit, even removing all the flesh down to the peel. Pretty awesome. Holds juice from 1 whole grapefruit with a little room to spare, so you don't spill any.

Works great!
Worth noting this normally retails for about 110JPY+550JPY shipping from yahoo.co.jp - so roughly $6, not much more than I paid for this. The price isn't bad at all considering. It works great for lemons, and I use it to juice lemons for homemade lemonade. It is a little tiring to use to juice a batch of lemons, but for a smaller batch it's easy enough that I think this little tool more than pays for itself. Definitely recommend!

Good for daily use
It's a simple juicer for my daily lemon water. I just rinse it under water right after use and don't even need a sponge to clean. I like this so much better than the handheld one, which I find it clunky and doesn't juice all the way. It's a good cheap replacement for the old milk glass one my husband broke which I used to love.
