Animals are not that cute
The seller did a wonderful job of wrapping this book and it arrived ahead of time.The book shows the creations of the author, but they are not quite what I had hoped for. Instructions are well written and illustrations are fine. I just don't like the animal's faces. I guess I can change that by making them to my liking. That is why I gave it 4 stars, not 5 stars. The seller is great!

Not too bad.
This book is not what I was looking for. The patterns are nice, but they draw the pattern, so they don't have a smooth edge. There's a gallery at the end with more pictures, but no patterns, including a great dragon. The patterns are OK, but the entire book just feels uninspired. There's a rhino doll, but it's just the head in profile, and painted heavily. The bunnies on the cover are the best pattern.There's a gallery at the back with pictures of more dolls and the artists, along with some nice information, but this just makes me want to stop reading this book and find those patterns instead. If you can find it inexpensive, go for it!

This book is wonderful if you like to make doll and animals out of cloth for yourself, to give as presents and for children. The instructions are very easy to understand even if you have never sewn before. I highly recommend this book.

This was not what I expected or my type of craft preferences. It seems antiquated but that’s ok. Not my style

Not what I was expecting at all. The book smells horrible and is going to a charity shop soon. Not my choice of toys at all except for the bunnies on the cover.

Acquired taste
The animal dolls on the front cover are the best in the book in my opinion, but it depends on taste. If you want cuddly animal dolls this is definitely not for you. However the book did arrive in excellent condition and within the specified time span.

Heirlooms in the making.
Beautiful indeed. These patterns make for nostalgic quality animals sure to become heirlooms in any family. Not for beginners.
