If for some reason you find yourself in need of an ear-splitting whistle, look no further than this. I can't imagine you will find anything louder for your dollar. The fact that it comes with its own fabric necklace is a bonus. I am an animal photographer and use myriad whistles when photographing in order to get a dog or cat or bunny or whatever to look at me and my camera. This whistle is way too loud for that purpose but if you are a coach of misbehaving or rambunctious 6 year olds or a referee calling fouls, this is the whistle you want. There is no way you wont get everyone's attention. It's a pretty good looking whistle as well, taking a different and more regal form factor than the typical earsplitting pea whistles your gym teachers blew.BOTTOM LINE: for the right purpose this 3 pack of sport whistles is a great value. I doubt you'll find anything any louder.

very loud, light and well made.This whistle can produce the tiniest sound with a gentle blow or the loudest (and annoying!) with the full breath. The sound is typical for the umpire of an open field game.The low price and the high quality makes it the best deal. The laynard strap is wide and also the best quality.

These are very good whistles and they are loud. They are not heavy or big but good size. Its made of what seems like aluminum and seems solid. I am no so sure the key ring and chain on the whistle would last too long but the whistle is good. I have also given one to each of my daughters for any emergency use, they keep it tied to the school bag. I ordered 5 pieces but received only 3 in package but customer support from seller was fast and responsive; they sent me remaining ones right away.

Very loud, but not annoying sound. Theinterval between the two notes is pleasing and reminds me of a train whistle. Quality seems good, and the options for key chain and/or lanyard are handy. Recommended safety item for all river floaters -- and many other uses.

Really loud when you blow hard on it. And there's no ball to get stuck (other whistles have tiny cork balls that stop working when they get wet or get dunked in water, as in a pond). No moving parts. Pure sonic function! I'll get more for our camping bags/ car/ bikes.

These are ear-poppingly loud, so they're perfect when you need high-decibel sound in games or emergencies. Each has a lanyard, and the metal is thick and can take a beating. Highly recommend.

These are awesome! We have a small 6 acre farm. One of the dogs has lost some of her hearing. This whistle she can hear even at the far corner of the property. It is VERY loud!
