DerwentTC02 Tinted Charcoal Pencil - Burnt Orange

These are one my all time favourite art supplies, the colours are glorious and muted, they are soft, and well behaved for charcoal. I just love this colour and it’s something that’s missing from the basic set of 12. If you’ve never used these before, it’s a joy, dissolved well in water for just bringing the colour right to the front, blend well, can be erased with care as long as you’ve not over blended first or used water. However have to say Heavily disappointed in the seller though as it arrived in a plastic bag with not tip, the point broken off but not in the bag, so it had been put in the bag damaged before placed in a box damaged. Now yes I can sharpen it, but if it’s already damaged who knows if it’s broken all the way down? These pencils are notoriously delicate, very easily broken. It’s just the nature of charcoal. But still, would expect a wee bit more care to come from it.

Excllent, arrived well packaged so the pencil has not been broken. The tinted charcoal is very nice to use and the colour is stronger than you would expect

The colour was not true to picture or description- more yellow ochre than burnt orange.
