Best WiFi controller with some quirks
I bought 3 of these to run my Christmas light display. I’ve tried a few others as well. This definitely has the best Ap to control the lights as it gives the best options to create your own patterns and colors. Problem is that they are not very reliable. Out of 3, 1 was DOA. The other stopped working after a couple weeks, and the last one worked for the entire 1 month or so I had my display up. I would recommend getting a spare. There are 2 different models, the bloodroots version and this one, the WiFi version. The WiFi connection works pretty well, the best of these Chinese controllers I’ve tested, but they do have some quirks. Overall the best controller for money.

Excellent wifi controller for addressable LED light strips!
This is the only seller I have found on Amazon to carry the addressable wifi adapter it works great! No issues has hundreds of settings it can handle through the magic home one app. I would have bought more than 1, but now shows out of stock it is virtually impossible to find this elsewhere with the 3 wire programmable WITH WiFi and not Bluetooth like the others I have found.( That's not $100+)

Does not work
Found this wifi controller, really wanted to connect to my computer, to control from my computer, so I purchase this wifi controller, got it in the mail, connected it up, RGB lights up all white, load this magic home pro app, connect my phone to the controllers wifi, launch the app, and just get connection failed. tried on 2 separate android phones, tried some other software that says compatible with magic home no dice.Big waste of money, seems nothing short of building my own controller will work. but I lack any experience to do it.Edit - So I realized I might not had enough power, I was using my 5 V DC adapter that came with my Bluetooth controller for the lights, so I plugged in a 12 v since the device states 12 to 24, maybe the wireless did not have enough. well plugged it all in, and only 4 and 8 LED lite up, blue for that matter. tried to reconnect, still nothing, I could connect to the wireless but magic home would not connect to the device. plugged it back into my audio controller, and guess what the same 2 led's are the only thing lite. so this device with a 12 v DC power fried my entire LED strip. Not at all happy.First I purchased a Bluetooth controller that uses this Magic LED app. that worked, but had 200 modes, but did list what each mode was, very limited, no music mode or anything.

Worked well with my WS2811 lights
You just have to minimize the distance to the first light for data integrity. Given this works off 12V you can basically install it "in-line". A cheap an easy solution to having cooler lights than the neighbors.

Must know the number of led pinn
It would of worked but did not fit my 3 pin RGB led strip.

Well made.
Able to control my led's anywhere now. Used to have a blue tooth controller and you had to be close to it.

It will just fry your strip
I am using a WS2812B strip and it refused to work with a 5v adapter. I know these LEDS are powered by 5v so it should have worked fine like that. I tried plugging in a 12v .5A adapter, as it literally says right on the device, and it fried the whole strip. So now I'm out $50 because this stupid controller is labeled to work with these LEDs and does not even have a voltage regulator. Do not buy this unless you want a dead strip.
