Works Great with 2012 Toyota Tundra 6.5 bed .
Ok I waited to review this product until i was able to really put it to the test. I'm am happy to say that this Bike rack works great! its easy to install and after the first time using it you be able to have the bikes up an in the truck in a matter of minutes. I've used it with 1 and 2 bikes installed and bikes did not fall over. I've driven on the highway 70 mph plus speeds, country gravel back roads, tight turns, speed bumps and sudden stops and this rack was able to keep bikes upright and damage free. My ONLY complaint about this system is the clamps. I wish they were just a tad bigger, I have to open the clamp to the outter most postion to get them on the top tube. but you can always clamp to the seat post if your top tube is too large. which I have to do with my Cannondale mountain bike. Still belive this product deserved 5 stars anyway.

Topline Uni-grip
If you are looking for a simple but effective bike rack that is easy to install, this is the item you want. It requires less than 10 minutes installation time and works on any truck. A lock is also included. Unlike other bike racks that require the removal of the front wheel for anchoring your bike, the Uni-grip clamps to your bike on the down tube or seat post. It's a firm connection to a hard point on your bike that will not cause any damage. There is no front wheel disassembly and re-assembly, and the bike remains in the standing position during transportation. I've used the Uni-grip every weekend for two months, and I have not encountered any problems.

Great Product!
Ordered this product on a weekend with 3 day shipping, despite the warning of taking an extra day of processing I received the order on Wed of the next week, 1 day sooner than originally forecast by the system. One questionable aspect of the shipping was that the system arrived in it's basic on-shelf style retail cardboard packaging with no other container around it. Just shipping labels slapped on it. It arrived intact with no damage despite the fact that it was sealed with just a single "tuck-in" style cardboard tab. No tape sealing it at all! So someone could have just opened the box and removed items or it could have fallen out during shipping if the container was accidentaly jarred open!As for the product it is light weight, small, easy to store (can acutually put it under the truck seat) and very easy to assemble and mount the bikes. According to the style/size of bikes you plan to carry you might need to try a couple of different mounting points in order to get a solid mount that doesn't have the bikes hitting each other if you use the 2-4 bike add on system. once you find the sweet spots for mounting, it takes less than 5 minutes to install the system and mount/unmount the two bikes in the future. The 2 bike system I ordered comes with two adjustable nylon straps to secure the front wheel/forks to the frame to prevent swiveling druing transit. Due to the tube angles on the bikes and the buckle design it is hard to get these tight enough for them not to slip or flex. I think some kind of elastic material would work better. (see my fix below)My best suggestion is if you buy this system get some velcro straps, or rubber bands to go around the brake levers and the hand-grips, effectively "locking" or engaging the bike brakes for the duration of transport. I used some velcro straps intended to bundle computer cords together. This dramatically increased the stability of the whole system by preventing the bikes from rolling slightly forward and backward due to the flex and play in the front wheel straps. Once I made this "mod" the bikes hardly move at all during transport!Time will tell as to the durability of the plastic and rubber clamp parts, but for the price it is a hard system to beat!UPDATE: 2016 - I have been using this product for many years now and it is still the best solution out there with one exception. Topline needs to make a clamp, possibly with a flexible strap on the bike end that allows clamping to larger Carbon fiber bike tubes!!! I upgraded bikes and with the new larger tubes I have to use either the handle bar or the seat post which is not nearly as stable. Simple design option would make a world of difference. Also please consider adding some padding under the part that goes on the plastic top rail of the truck. The current solution dents the plastic truck rail when it is tightened.

Great product!!! Had it for 5 years now with no issues.
I was some what skeptical when we bought this package but Wow! what a pleasant surprise when after our first trip to a neighboring state (60 mile trip) and at highway speeds (70 +) both bike were secure and not much movement. We have a shorter box so the front wheels had to be turned in a little but that is okay. What I have discovered over the years of using this product is there are two things I would suggest, 1 to the manufacturer and one to the consumer.1) Manufacturer - Please, please develop a quick release to replace the "T Bolt" assembly.2) Consumer - If you place a piece of Velcro around handlebar & brake it acts like a safety brake and the bikes ride way more securely.Thank you for this product, you have made traveling with bikes more enjoyable!

It comes with instructions on how to make this work but it's not sturdy. Also
I just got this product in and now I'm returning it. It's made to fit inside the lip of the truck bed but I have a toyota tacoma and they have a rail system with no lip. It comes with instructions on how to make this work but it's not sturdy. Also, it doesn't really lock your bike. It comes with a lock and it tells you to loop it through the I-screw but the i-screw can easily and accessibly be unscrewed quickly. Finally, the handles that tighten the loops that hold the bike frame are made of plastic and one of mine came already broken. It seems like a good idea, and maybe on a different truck it's better, but I would not recommend.

Sturdy, but won't work for all bikes.
I have a 1996 Nissan Hard-body truck. The attachment fit on quickly and snugly. My bike is a Diamondback Kalamar. The clamp barely fit on the tube, but once I got it on, it held the bike very securely. The clamps are designed for smaller tubed bikes. My wife's bike is a Diamondback Vital. Because the top frame tube bends down over the bottom frame tube, the clamp can not connect. Works great for the one bike.
