Better than OEM
Well the OEM when up in a puff of smoke but I didn't realize how many electrical gremlins it was causing. after the swap everything is working fine. Easy to replace. should have done this a long time ago.

Better then Mosfet
I have a 2007 daytona 675. Which has a Rec. recall. I did my research online and heard this is better the MOSFET. And it is indeed. This just plug n play. And reliable quality. Installing and replacing the old one was rather difficult mechanically, however once you put it on, it's definitely solid.

So far so good
Hopefully this will correct the chronic R/R I have experienced with my '10Triumph Daytona has. Replaced 3 times in 6k miles, even the updated factory recall R/R failed.I will update this review if this one also fails. The vendor I purchased from through Amazon shipped the same day I ordered.

Awesome Regulator
Who doesn't love a solid state controller? it runs much cooler than the stock part and it hasn't failed yet. Plus it fits exactly where the original regulator was so there are no modifications needed like some of the other solid state regulators out there.

Winner!
You really have to work at it to get the old R/R out, but this new solid state one fixes issues from the stock one. I'd be riding down the freeway and suddenly the gauges would reset including the tach which would re-calibrate so it'd show the engine speed at like 13,000 RPM at 70 MPH.Anyway attached are some pictures showing the new R/R in front of the rear shock, the stock versus new R/R and what I did to support the rear as you have to rotate the shock forward to get access. Finally loosening the shock before lifting the bike and the tight space you have to work on with the wiring harness and all.
