GEORGE KOVACS P4304-084, Georges Reading Room Glass Swing Arm Floor Lamp, LED, Brushed Nickel

I LOVE this lamp- it is very sleek and streamlined, and it has a dimmer so you can quickly go from dim and relaxing to very bright, crisp light for reading, sewing, etc. Plus, it can be moved and adjusted every which way without ever moving the actual lamp. The top part that contains the light bulb swivels all the way around, and the stick itself has a huge range of motion. The cord is really long, which makes it reach outlets easily. I would have given it 5 stars, but I had to take one off because the on/off button is illuminated, and remains illuminated as long as the lamp is plugged in. This is an awful feature because it is so bright that it disturbs my sleep. I remedied it by layering three, yes three, pieces of silver duct tape and cutting it into a circle, which I stuck on top of the button. It helps, and is not really noticeable because it blends well with the satin nickel coloring of the lamp. Amazingly, some light still escapes around the sides of the tape, but at least I can sleep in the same room with the lamp, lol. I still love the lamp and would highly recommend it.

I love the style and weight of the lamp, but every time I try to shut it off with the switch, it shocks me and then I can't get it to work again until I unplug the lamp which does something to "reset" it. I don't know what I'll do about it, since I didn't realize this flaw until I had thrown away the box.

Very small light head but throws off terrific light. good buy and i am going to buy some of their other designs

I LOVE the way this lamp looks but it kept shorting out, flickering until I got it in the right position. That lasted for about one year--annoying, and then finally crapped out completely after 2 years. Kind of pricey lamp for 2 years of less than optimal use.
