Can you use this on a wall that is out of plumb?

it will stick to CLEAN surfaces. Plumb has nothing to do with its use. It will reach out and stick to what ever touches it, so be sure of where you place it and the curl is very difficult to work with.. it is in a roll and you can take some of the curl out of it by pulling the paper side over a ridge of a counter or something.
