Davidoff Cool Elixir Parfum Intense – Woody Men's Cologne – With Notes of Rose Oxide, Lavandin & Oud Accord – Long Lasting Fragrance

I'm not sophisticated enough to describe what notes are in it, but I know it's woody, and I know I LOVE it! I can't get enough of it! I bet people around me at the office are angry "that guy smells like a 35 year old sales VP from the 1990s!" or something. Sometimes, at the end of the day, when I'm driving home, I'll lift my shirt collar to the bridge of my nose just to take a few whiffs of it. Just one spray of it will last all day, three sprays will keep it in your nose all day long. I didn't learn about the difference between EDP, EDT, and parfum before I bought this and I feel stupid for never knowing the difference. If doesn't smell like the original Cool Water, it's a new fragrance, but I absolutely love it.

If I were to best described Davidoff Elixir, it’s like between Dior Sauvage and the OG scent of Davidoff Cool Water. It’s a perfect bottle for the winter time and the Oud Accord stands out the most. Especially since the bottle size is 3.3 Fl oz/100 ML it gives off that vibe of Oud essence. Plus, it’s more long lasting than moderate. For being priced around $115 this is not a bad deal in comparison to Dior. It’s worth the value for oud lovers. FYI, there other scents include Rose Oxide, and Rose Lavender. Which is ideal and very simplistic. Definitely recommended for the winter and fall season.

I like it. A lot. It kinda reminds me of a Middle Eastern scent but without the "twang" that I get with most of them. That twang seems to be a base, middle, and top note. I go from indifferent to kinda tired of it. The oud notes and projection put me in the mind of a Middle Eastern fragrance, but it doesn't really smell like a Middle Eastern fragrance. For me, it's not the rockstar fragrance that most reviewers describe but it's way more than solid in smell and has great longevity. I get a lot of compliments. I'd buy it again. The price point I bought it at was great. The current price point is very good. The cap, at least in the 1oz size, is a DOOZEY to get off. Haven't put it all the way on since I got it off.

The cologne is better and last longer than other version of cool water. It smells good as well. The scent to me kinda smells like axe but better

If you like Cool Water you will enjoy this fragrance. It’s more sophisticated, and you can smell the fragrance layers. I like two sprays on the neck and one on each wrist. I will keep this fragrance in the rotation. Everyone that smells it always compliments how well it smells. The Cool Water roots are there but it had its own identity. I feel it’s a great price point.

I love this scent..has to be the classiest of the Davidoff scents I’ve tried! Good for anytime of year! Get it!

Smells really good and lasts all day. Don't spray too much or it can be overwhelming. I learned this the hard way.

An excellent elixir (heavy and oily) new fragrance from Davidoff. The scent is beautiful, with woody and smoky scents. The duration of the scent lasts all day! The value versus size is superb, since other elixirs are offered at much greater prices. I use it every day and I highly recommend it for all Davidoff fragrance enthusiasts!

Perfect Perfume, This is Unisex though

Ich habe mir vor kurzem dieses neue Davidoff Herrenparfum gekauft, das erst vor etwa 3–4 Monaten erschienen ist. Und ich muss sagen: Ich bin sehr positiv überrascht. Der Duft ist intensiv, holzig und sehr angenehm – genau das, was ich mir von einem hochwertigen Herrenduft erwarte. Besonders spannend ist die Kombination aus Rose Oxide, Lavandin und Oud Accord, die dem Parfum eine sehr spezielle und einzigartige Note verleiht. Dadurch hebt es sich deutlich von vielen anderen Herrendüften ab. Es ist zwar etwas teurer, aber meiner Meinung nach ist der Preis absolut gerechtfertigt, weil die Qualität stimmt. Besonders beeindruckend finde ich die lange Haltbarkeit: Der Duft bleibt viele Stunden auf der Haut präsent, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Auch das Feedback aus meinem Umfeld war durchweg positiv – viele Menschen haben mir gesagt, dass dieses Parfum wirklich sehr gut riecht. Ich selbst fühle mich damit ebenfalls sehr wohl und habe bisher keinerlei Probleme gehabt. Fazit: Ein hochwertiges Parfum mit einem einzigartigen Mix aus Rose Oxide, Lavandin und Oud Accord, intensiv und holzig, mit exzellenter Haltbarkeit. Für mich auf jeden Fall ein Produkt, das ich gerne wieder kaufen werde

Good but nothing exceptional, no surprise with such a low price. I found the performance ordinary too, despite influencers and reviewers reporting to be loud and long lasting. That's a common problem even with designer fragrances costing five times as much so no surprise even here. It has nothing to do with Cool Water so don't buy it hoping to have an amped up version of that legendary perfume.
