Wood Dowel Pins, 1/4" x 2 2/5" (6x60mm), 100 Pieces, Best Fluted

These pins are exactly as described and just what I needed. I recently moved and had to disassemble my IKEA bookshelf (don't know the name since I bought it so long ago) and some of the pins broke in the process. I ordered these based on the measurements listed and hoped for the best.In the pictures the darker pin is part of the original parts. The lighter one is part of the new batch from this seller. Exactly the same size and material. Now I can assemble the bookshelf without worrying about breaking a pin or two. Happy with my purchase.

I disassembled & moved a large IKEA Expedit shelving unit, and when I went to put it back together discovered that a lot of dowel pins had broken or been lost. IKEA no longer makes that shelving unit, but fortunately these dowel pins are the same size and were a perfect replacement. I could easily put the shelves back together once I had them. I had a bunch left over and it turns out they make good little cat toys, too.

These work Wonderfully to hold up my bookshelf. Plus I have tons more! Everything I expected from this purchase. Thank you wonderful dowels.

Perfect size for my IKEA Kallax shelving unit! These were the right diameter and the right length. They worked very well as replacements for the down pins broken the last two times I took the shelving unit apart.

After reading reviews, I bought these to replacement some dowels for my IKEA Kallax. Unfortunately these were too large, both in diameter and length. But the reason I gave it 3 stars is that they snapped very easily when I hit them lightly with a rubber mallet, not even a real hammer!

Useless for joinery. These were about 1/32" under 1/4" I didn't discover it until it was too late to return.

These were nice but actually measured 3/16" rather than 1/4", and why I gave it 3 stars. I NEEDED 1/4" thickness. They were too thin therefore could not be used.
