Great for teaching light and colour
This arrived the next day, in a nice red box, and is substantial - 6 or more inches long - and refracts sunlight into its component colours - invaluable for teaching about light. It prompted the good question: why is sunlight light white, but when you mix together paints of the rainbow colours you get black.
