Awesome card. Of course it’s expensive. But will hopefully last a very long time. I undervolted mine so it’s only drawing 400-410 watts of power under full load. With a slight overclock, it’s performing nearly identically to stock with much less power draw and cooler temps. I did remove the sliding gigabyte logo because it was causing a bit of a rattle. Other than that, solid build for a “middle of the road” 5090.

Kicking myself for not buying it when it was only $500 over msrp. Insane upgrade over my old 3080 10gb. It was still able to carry most modern games at 4k with DLSS, but jumping to this has been one of the single biggest leaps I’ve made in twenty years of custom builds. Extremely good overclocker as well, even with stock volts and cooling. Highly recommended if gaming on a 4k OLED or interested in AI rendering.

So I have one of the biggest Cooler master cases you can buy and I still had to cut it for this card. It’s not the size of the card. It’s the way it’s shaped. I also had to buy an elbow shaped adapter so I could get the side cover back on. With the cover in that ugly cut can’t be seen. It was a pain but besides that it’s worked perfectly. It’s an amazingly powerful card. ##update Card is no longer working!

Bought this mainly for use in flight sim and wow has it changed the experience. Yes it’s a lot of money but the overall improvement I’ve seen in my use is well worth the money!
