Q: Will it kill carpenter ants outside? Is it a barrier prevention or does it only kill them on contact?

Honestly it didn’t prevent or kill the ants. I had to spray a ton to kill the ants, so basically they drowned vs. being killed by the product. Suffice it to say it made a big mess.

It has a very minty smell it does say anything about birds.

Yes, on contact! It will not prevent infestations. Any spray cleaner will do the same.

Q: After spraying Might Mint, can you wipe counters or surfaces and it still works?

It dries very fast. If you wipe your cabinet, you would be removing the spray
