Must have for Max bags.
Maxpedition bags have really long straps so these are a must have. They really should come with the bags but I guess it's just a way to make a few extra bucks for the company. I've never found a better way to tie up long straps & you really have to. Long, dangling straps are annoying & dangerous depending on what you're doing.

Like so much I bought more.
After using these on a couple packs and liking the versatility so much, I started to just give them away to my friends when they needed a fix for themselves. So I had to buy more. The shock cord doesn't lose tension. The foot pad design keeps the part firmly in place. I put my gear and by extension these Web Dominators through the absolute worst you could for packs and after being dropped on, dragged by, muddied up, submerged and subjected to high heat in a Sonoran Desert Summer, these are quite nice.

They work.
They do what they're supposed to. What else can you ask for? It would make more sense for the shape to be a rectangle than a trapezoid, but they work. They're a bit unsightly though. Semi-elastic straps of the same color with velcro would do the job better (not very tactical though).

Works ok
You need these if you have a lot of excess strapping hanging off your gear. If you only have a small amount, they don't seem to keep it in place and the strap comes out of the elastic holder. I have 6 on my Falcon II and find I do more adjusting on them then I do on the straps themselves. Handy to have but not essential. A piece of 100 MPH tape will do the same thing for straps you don't adjust very often.

It works
The product does what it says. It holds annoying straps in place securely. After over 100 miles of hiking, these things stayed in place on my 3 day Blackhawk pack. My only copmplaint is they are a little pricey at $10 for 4 of them, hence the 4 stars.

Good design, functional, overpriced for what you get.
Works great for strapping <lightweight thing> to your molly. Also fine for taking up extra slack, like those straps for holding a bedroll on the bottom of your backpack. Not rating higher because they wany way too much money for what they are. These should be in a can at the front counter of your sporting goods store for $.99 each not 4 / $10.

Easy attachment to molle and holds the drinking tube securely
Well made clips. Easy attachment to molle and holds the drinking tube securely. I need a lot of these for the rucks!

wish i bought more
Theese work great, I bought them to secure the hose of my camelbak to the shoulder strap on my hunting/hiking pack. They also work great for tying up extra straps on molle packs. I thought four would be enough but wish I had four more
