Excellent product. Put it on solar and it works 20 hours per day.

I purchased this skimmer 1 month ago. It worked fabulously for the first 3 weeks. But now, it doesn't work at all. Not on an electric charge nor the solar charge. Very disappointed. Don't waste your money.

Love this skimmer. This is my second season with it, and it works great. It comes with a charger but I have never had to charge it as the solar charge works enough, and that includes leaving it running in the pool for a full day or more. This season, the top of the pool was a mess, with leaves and silt, and when I came out two hours later, it was crystal clear. Just make sure you put the basket back in tight, as I did have it fall into the deep end once. But if you push it and pull down to make sure it's hooked, there are no issues. I also left it outside in an open pool basket during the off season, and still no issues.

I love this skimmer robot! This has taken so much work out of being a pool owner. I especially like that this is solar powered so I’m not constantly having to worry about charging it as well. It works very well. I have a decent size pool and I haven’t felt like it couldn’t keep up with the workload. It catches bugs small leaves. And even grabs small toys that my children leave in the pool. Definitely would buy again.

I purchased this robot about 7 months ago and now one of the motor it doesn’t work anymore, this is my second one, the first one it stopped working with in 1 month of use and now my second one the motors maker a weird noise and stops moving

It failed after 5 weeks of uses so the return window is closed. First I noticed it stopped working midday in full sun. After attempt to charge it it goes thru initialization, runs for a few seconds and repeats this cycle. This happens in all positions of the main switch. So it actually won't switch off. Before the failure it was: Excellent! I have variable speed pump running low RPM. Skimming wasn't working well. There was a lot of debris on the surface every day. This little robot cleaned it up.

Great for when it wants to work. Stop responding and won't turn on. Then, a few days later, brings itself back to life. Now that pool season is over, maybe I'll take it apart to see what the issue is. If it's easily fixable, I'll update the review. My grandson loves the remote part, so I really don't want to give it a bad review, it's a cool little machine.
