This a very readable guide to the complexities of the EU.I found it a valuable aid in helping me to assemble a PowerPoint presentation on how the EU operates.

As a textbook, it is a useful introduction to the EU. Recommended for beginners. Gives direction on expanding one's studies. Since this is the older edition, one might consider purchasing the new one. For an intro course though, this one still does the job.
