Perhaps I should wait a bit, but if need be I'll amend this review in the future. First off, it's very well packaged with styrofoam padding and entirely covered with a plastic film over the paint and I was surprised it even had metal protectors for the corners inside the box. Also, the entire freezer is covered with a plastic film. But when I took the metal corners off one of the back corners was dented! So, it must have been dented in the factory before they put on the protectors. In the owner's manual it says to have it standing for at least 24 hours, but on an insert they say to have it vertical for 6 to 12 hours before using. I had it vertical for 15 hours. It seems to get cold enough, but I've got a freezer thermometer coming tomorrow. I've got two, but can't find them right now. I'll add to this when I check the temps. I've got a freezer in my large refrigerator and a 3.1 cu. ft. Kenmore chest freezer, but still needed a little bit more. Okay, got the thermometer I was waiting for. It's a U Unni and it's a great thermometer and I'll have to write a separate review on that. It gives you two sensors one for the fridge and one for the freezer, or you can use it on two different freezers or refrigerators or any combination. It seems very accurate and what I love most about it is that it will give you the min and max temps over a 24 hour period or for as long as you installed it. This is most useful in finding out the two temps your freezer bounces from low to high. Okay, setting the dial at four it will bounce (move) from -2.5 to -6.1 and when the dial is turned all the way up it will bounce from -5.8 to -10.3 ! Pretty damn cold. I haven't even tried it at three yet, but I'll probably keep it at four. Perhaps I shouldn't have used the word bounce it takes quite a while for it to move from low to high and vice versa.

I believe I’ve had this for about half a year now, and it hasn’t given me any problems. It’s straightforward and efficient. I use it for freezing food for my ball python. I’ve kept dead rats in there for over a month and they preserve perfectly. Sorry if that’s a bit gross The packaging was also kind of annoying and hard to take apart, but that’s not a big issue. My advice is just to be mindful when handling the freezer so no parts are knocked out of place. The only thing I could complain about is that, over time, there’s been a build up of ice in the deepest parts of the freezer. I’ve never put anything wet in the freezer. It wouldn’t be hard to just scrape out, and I hope it doesn’t cause any future problems. Overall, I’d recommend it!

Perfect for our frozen snacks

So far, so good. It works, and it’s very quiet. Just be aware that it is very small and, like most mini fridge/freezers, doesn’t have auto defrost, so you’re going to have to defrost it pretty regularly. I’ve only had it for 3 weeks, and ice is already starting to build up. We only use it to store ice packs for injuries or migraines (so they don’t pick up odors), so I can’t say if it’s good at freezing ice or anything. It did come with a cute little ice cube tray, though. I also liked that it was fully assembled, and I didn’t have to put the door on. It ships in the manufacturer’s box, in case you plan to surprise anyone.

We have this beauty of a freezer in our walk in closet. It's great for hiding our frozen treats, holds a lot for It's small size. Keeps the temp well and has very little frost inside. I would say over all it's a great product. But dang that thing is loud when the compressor or whatever the heck it is stops running. And yes, I mean stops. It's not loud to run, when it shuts off it has a clatter and I thought it dies the first time I heard it.
