Great for Magneto fans
First part and end of the book is Magneto related, middle portion is related Xavier and most of the team is stuck in other dimension. Book begins with a bang and entire Magneto War event is great. Ending of the book also including Magneto Rex issues, which is fun to read. This book is a very thick book and it is a lot of content.

Great seller, great item.
Awesome seller, awesome product and and awesome price. As far as the item is concerned, I pretty much end my X-Men run with this book. This to me was a great conclusion and Joe Kelly left Marvel shortly after this and his legendary Deadpool run. Highly recommended. X-Books after this? Not as much.

Following the Hunt for Professor X story line from late 90βs. Collects over 20 issues!

Big collection that won me over in the end
This is not the most classic era of X-Men, but this collection benefits from Alan Davis's writing. It also features the beginning of Genosha as a mutant state and the debut of Deathlok, so it's more memorable than some other late 90s X-Men stories. Davis writes Uncanny like he wrote Excalibur, with a lot of traveling through space and time. I actually prefer the more grounded Magneto Rex issues, written by Joe Pruett. There's a solid cast of human and mutant characters that provide for some fun political intrigue. The final storyline, with the X-Men saving SHIELD from the Red Skull, is a lot of fun and has some great Rick Leonardi art. None of these writers or artists would continue on the book for long, which makes this a unique collection from a period that is largely forgotten.
