Do I need to apply primer before use this coating?

Most Paint will adhere better with Primer, I would say no, it's not Something you Have to do, but if you want the paint to stick and hold at its best. I would prime the surface first.

How many of these do I need for four rims?

I got two 16" van rims coated with about 1 and a half coats out of one can of the black. It can out looking awesome. I did the other two in silver and it didn't look nearly as good. Black is where its at for spraying rims. If doing any color besides black use a deck of cards and jamb then in between rim and tire all the way around. But black sprayed on the sidewalls looks awesome.

Can I use this for a airsoft gun

You can if you want to, but this paint is for metal. So if your airsoft gun is plastic, then I'd suggest you use a paint for plastic, like Krylon Plastic paint.

How does this paint do on outside metal Railing... Does it do well on wet weather and will i need to prime it before i apply the gloss black?

You should ALWAYS lightly scuff sand, wipe clean, then prime before painting anything that you really want to last!

Long lasting, good paint!
