Thule Atmos X4 Case for iPhone 6

Great case!!! Unique elegant screen protector front piece with good clearance when phone placed face down; face down the case does slide on smooth surfaces. Good feel where the hard rubber and the soft rubber of the case meld providing a solid grip where hand meets case. When placed backside down the case holds and doesn't slide on smooth surfaces. Nice chrome detail on the volume and on off side buttons.Clean servicible cut outs provide good access to inputs, camera, and on/off toggle. Well worth the price.Update: Now four months later -- the case still looks like new, fits like a glove and have had no issues with the case at all. I do with the screen protector, the top corner raised and dust got under the screen protector and it has been impossible to get that dust of the screen and due to the dust there is a bubble that I can not get out. Then yesterday the phone slipped out of my shirt pocket about 3 feet as I bent over. The case protected the phone, but the face landed on something sharp and while it did protect the phone screen there is a dent and small slash in the protector screen and another bubble. I can live with it, but wanted to see if I could replace the protective screen, can't find one online anywhere, even in the stores listed as carrying Thule products. So it looks like it will take an extra effort to track down the replacement if that is even available. On the Thule site listing for this model there is a link to "parts" but it doesn't load.

I really love everything about this case except the small complaint that, as others have noted, even with the new replacement frame for the screen cover, it's still hard to open up the control panel. I can do it, but it takes more effort than it should. Does protect the screen, shows no fingerprints, and the case has protected my phone in some preposterously dangerous accidental drops and even a toss onto bricks.UPDATE: Almost one year later, I still recommend this case...mainly it's sturdy and appeals to my function-over-form aesthetic. BUT, the screen protector, which has worked for most of this past year, finally gave up. The gap between the case and the screen frame catches dust. When I very carefully peeled the screen protector up in order to clean the trash out of that gap, the flimsy frame broke on one side. Superglue doesn't hold it, so it's taped on with gorilla tape until a glass protector arrives that I hope will fit within the shell of the Thule case. We'll see.So...the case is great, and has held up well, but the indifferently designed screen cover is the Achilles heel. It works but is not a design Thule should be satisfied with.Highly recommended.

This case is extremely slim for how solid it is. I have had several cases over the past year and a half of owning a 6/6s iphone, and this could be my favorite. Yes this fits the new 6s.1st: The Screen Protector is nice if you don't mind the bulk. It's raised edges over the front add a bit of sensed thickness, even though it is probably a 1mm difference. I'm ditching mine for a slimmer screen protector.2nd: The case coloring is a slightly more textured look than in the photos. Not a bad thing, but it probably means it will get dirty more quickly. That is not a fact, but just what i have seen from past experience.3rd: If you are a happy x3 user, don't fondle the x4. The metal buttons are so much better it will make you hate your x3. Trust me.

I just got the case today, so I can’t speak to the longevity or it’s ability to withstand abuse. But I did my research and found many videos of people putting it through the ringer, with great results. For me though this case is perfect. Doesn’t add much to the size of the phone for one. It also has great grips, really feel I can hold onto it. And the screen cover is great, don’t even realize it’s there, doesn’t affect touchscreen at all. Some reviews I saw said people had a hard time getting the control center to swipe up fro the bottom dude to the case covering the very bottom of the screen. But this model has spaces cut out on the edge that makes swimming up very easy. The case may be pricier than some, but it’s worth the protection for your phone. Highly recommend.

I bought this case based upon the recommendations of other reviews I'd read. I'd heard that the screen protector prevented accessing the control panel but the model I ordered was pictured with the one newly designed to avoid that problem. Well unfortunately it came with the old version which does not allow access to the control panel. Happy ending though because I called the seller and I was shipped a new one that DOES allow access to the control center so they have fixed the issue. Only reason I gave it four stars is because it seems as if dirt will find its way between the case and screen protector. Some additional color options would also be nice but I'm pleased with what I have.

I have ordered 2 and the images when purchasing were of the newer version where Thule corrected a problem on the iPhone 6 cover because with the orginal Atmos X4 version the screen cover did not allow a swipe from the bottom end of the screen to the top of the screen to access the control center. They have since fixed the problem making small cut outs on the left/right of the home button. So to my point, the one i ordered had the image of the corrected screen cover piece and what i received was the old cover and now i have to contact Thule and see if they will send me the corrected version of the screen cover. I ordered from to different vendor on in Germany on Amazon.de and the other in the U.S. on Amazon.com. Other than that the cover appears to be of great quality. So i am marking only 3 stars due to that problem with the screen covers and not imaging the product being sold correctly.

After doing a lot of research I came down to this case as the one I wanted for my new 6S. It is very sleek and not bulky which is what I wanted after having an otterbox on my previous phone. The design of this case is great with the screen protector and the case. My only gripe is that dust still gets in under the screen protector in my pocket. I've taken it off once to clean it and it has turned out to be extremely hard to clean the sticky side because of the inherent nature of it being sticky. Other than that, a great case compared to most others which are very lacklustre if you ask me.

super Schutz, super Optik und Haptik, aber:1. Das Aufbringen der "Scheibe" gestaltete sich viel schwieriger als ich es vom Gorilla-Glas Aufbringen her kenne. Erst im dritten Versuch gelang es dann FAST blasenfrei, nach einem Tag waren aber auch die letzen kleinen Bläschen an den Rändern verschwunden.Es ist aber kein vollständiger Abschluss erkennbar, der Rahmen schliesst nur bündig ab, wenn man auf den Rahmen drückt. Hier bleibt abzuwarten, wieviel Staub sich daher ansammelt und infolge ein Ablösen des Frontcovers verursacht.2. Der Rahmen um das Frontcover ist ein wenig zu groß, was den unteren Teil des Displays betrifft. Ich war diesbezüglich im Fachhandel nachfragen und habe ein IPhone 6s anhalten lassen. Das Hochschieben im Sperrbildschirm (WLAN, Ruhezustand, etc.) gelingt aufgrund der "Übergöße" nur etwa jedes 10. mal. Man muss mit dem Finger schon fast versuchen unter den Rahmen zu gelangen, damit das Hochschieben gelingt.3. Das Frontcover scheint kein Glas zu sein, es fühlt sich plastisch und bei weitem nicht so gut an, wie ein Gorilla-Glas. Es verschmiert auch viel mehr, als ein solches. Ich hatte das Vorgängermodel X3 + Gorilla-Glas, es fühlte sich besser an und die Scheibe blieb auch sauberer.Pro:Nun habe ich die Hülle fast eine Woche und sie sitzt bombenfest !!!Sie fühlt sich viel besser an, als die X3, und die war schon cool.Das Orange ist ein HINGUCKER !!!Ich habe die Amazon-Hotline bemüht und bin an eine sehr verständnisvolle Mitarbeiterin geraten. Sie sendet mir kostenlos Ersatz zu. Nun bleibt abzuwarten, ob das richtige Frontcover geliefert wird....Ersatzlieferung kam schnell, aber wieder der falsche ArtikelIch habe das selbe Problem mit dem Aufbringen des Frontcovers gehabt, diesmal gingen die Bläschen an den Seiten jedoch nicht wegzudrücken. Auch der Ersatzartikel geht daher zurück.Amazon-Kundendienst gab an, den Artikel von der Webseite zu nehmen. SCHADE, denn die Farbe ist cool.

Nach Beschaffung eines neuen 6er iPhones, wollte ich dieses Mal einen 360° Schutz dazu holen. Hatte zuvor gute Erfahrungen mit Spigen gehabt. Ich stieß auf den Atmos X4 und habe dieses Case schon 1 1/2 Monate im Gebrauch. Es hat definitiv schon seine Vorteile gezeigt einen rundum Schutz besitzen!Positiv:- Wegen des Designs kann man sich ja streiten aber mir gefällt es persönlich, schon alleine wegen den 2 verarbeitenden Komponenten. Es ist leicht gummiert aber nicht klebend und liegt selbst bei einer Hand Bedienung, sicher in der Hand.- Die Druckknöpfe reagieren sofort und fühlen sich wertig an.- Die Front- und Backcam sind durch Vertiefungen gut geschützt.- und es sind smarte Aussparungen im Anschlussbereich vorhanden.Negativ:- wie auf dem abgebildeten Beispiel vom Displayschutz gab es links und rechts von der Home Taste Spielraum, um leicht auf das Control Center zugreifen zu können, geliefert wurde jedoch ein sehr genau angepasster Rahmen für den zu gebrauchenden Display. Das Control Center lässt sich im Home Bildschirm nicht raus wischen und auch Nachrichten werden manchmal zur Tortur, da alle Zeichen die nahe dem Rand liegen nicht immer direkt reagieren oder man sich vertippt.- Säubern bekommt dem Display nicht!!! Ich bin raucher und habe immer Tabakreste in der Hosentasche, und wenn es das nicht ist, habe ich Sand, Fussel, etc. drinnen. Einmal abgenommen lässt es sich zwar wieder ohne blasen (Dank dem mit gelieferten Plastikschieber) einsetzen, jedoch schließt sich immer wieder Staub mit ein.Fazit:Das Case hält ein, was es verspricht (bei mir definitiv Stöße, Stürze und Kratzer)! Geht man jedoch ins Detail bzgl. des Displayschutzes, muss man Einschränkungen hinnehmen. Wer dieses wie oben beschrieben verkraftet, ist mit dem Kauf hier richtig, jedoch finde ich den Preis nicht gerechtfertigt, es hätten 40€ gereicht!

Very simple to install. Fit well. And it doesn't feel too bulky in the hand like some other heavy duty cases. Access to ports is also good so almost any headphone or charger cable can be used.

Für iPhone 6 passt sehr gut. Habe keine Probleme mit hören, sprechen oder schreiben wegen der Schutzfolie, wie ich hier gelesen habe. Alles passt gut, schützt und sieht gut aus. Ich finde das Handy auch nicht zu dick. Ich meine, man weiß doch dass es eine "offroad-look" Hülle ist, also wenn einem so ein look nicht gefällt, soll sich andere Hülle kaufen. Für mich TOP!
