We've been using this filter system and replacement filter for years. Assuming it's doing what it's supposed to do, it's superior to all other filter units on the market that attach to the faucet. It's more durable and will last longer and has nice features such as a lever that resets itself when the water stops running and a green light that flashes during each use until the filter needs replacing.

These filters are easy to replace and the red/green light makes it clear when they need to be changed. One big drawback is that the filters and materials are not recyclable at this time. We are using filters so as not to "buy" purified drinking water and plastic bottles but we still have all this plastic and carbon filters to add to the waste supply.

Amazon ships quickly and for that, we are always grateful, however the flashing indicator light on these filters only flashes occasionally. So we're never really sure if the filter is good or not. I just make it a habit to change the filter every two or three months (no more).

The InstaPure product is garbage. The replacement filter is fine, it works with the InstaPure, no problems there. However, the actual InstaPure brand water filter is absolutely horrible. I finally gave in and trashed it. Got me a Pur and how my life improved. The mere frustration of using the InstaPure really affected my quality of life, causing me frustration and stress several times a day. I wish I'd dumped it sooner.I reviewed the InstaPure separately on the product page with more detail, if you're interested.

I have been using instapure filter for 2 years now. This purchase is to replenish my filter stock at home.

We really like these filters, makes the water sparkle and feel safe.These filters are being sold for $133 now by different sellers on Amazon (not sold by Amazon) and can be purchased from Instapure for $29.

Good product

having used the Brita tap filter for years, this Instapure is far better in every way. Perfect design, better features and great no-taste water.
