I also found it on a hazard list. I even contacted someone at ZiwiPeak and after he looked into it himself, he was baffled as to why it was being used. The new formula for the rabbit & lamb has chickpeas and my cats LOVE it. The traditional fat-on-the-top is gone but there is a \"gravy\" like juice which my cats go nuts over. I wasn't excited about chickpeas, but my boys are loving it. We've been using ZP for several years, 1 cat eats primarily this and the other cat will eat it but prefers Dr. Harvey's Oracle- that was until this new formula came, now both boys are going nuts over it! It's only a small amount of chick pea to thicken it, it is not being used as a primary protein in the food.
