These characters! They make this book. And characters are the most important part for me! I wasn't expecting to love this one the best of the series. Wasn't expecting to fall for Devlin. He certainly doesn't make that easy but it happened.Through both book one and book two of this series, I haven't liked Devlin very much. He was always prickly and suspicious. He keeps everyone at arms length. So many suspicious things about him and none of it cast Devlin in a good light. He never smiled. He never was a part of the bothers lives. They just shared the same mansion. And it all left me feeling like Devlin, the Devil as he was called, wasn't part of the human race. But then Rosie came into his life.Rosie has a very confident and demanding personality. Hilarious and driven, I loved her ghost hunting ways. Outspoken and willing to stand up to Dev as no one else ever has. She demanded that Devlin be human. She brought the smiles out of him. She insisted he be human. He brings the rage cleaning/organizing out in her. I loved Rosie. And while Devlin tried very hard to push her away with his lack of trust and dare I say his di** he** ways, there was something that pulled them together. Call it the de Vincent curse or some smokin' hot chemistry but they kept finding themselves around each other. And once they were around each other, the banter began.Beaded curtains and glow in the dark stars were but the beginning. They could argue with the best of them. He didn't trust her. She thought he was a jerk. But neither could deny the attraction. From the first kiss, they were both ruined for anyone else. Of course it wasn't quite that easy. It never is. But the chemistry between them lite the pages on fire. Both feel it and are amazed and confused by it.Which brings me to the story. It really is a recovery story for both of them. Both have strong personalities and they need each other. Neither is willing to admit that or submit to that but fate has her ways. The unraveling of all the secrets had a huge impact on them. The surprises? Oh yeah, those were there. This author has a way of pulling surprises out of nowhere. And there is one BIG one in this book that I NEVER would have seen coming. Answers for the whole series are finally given. One I had expected in part but that too had a twist I hadn't seen. The bottom line is that the pages just flew by. I devoured it in a day. Then I paced around not wanting to leave this world, this family. As always, JLA delivers an incredible story with great living, breathing, well rounded characters. She is an auto buy author for me and has been my favorite author for a very long time. This is her 50th book. I was reading her when it was her first book. Loved her then and love her now. If you've never read her books, you're in for a treat. It would be amazing to go back and experience them all again for the first time. As it is, they are on my reread list a lot. This series is best experienced from the beginning. You can read this stand alone but it will ruin the experience of reading the other two. AND you do want to read the other two.Jump on this bandwagon and experience this book, this series. It's amazing.

A wild ride of twists and turns in a tale of redemption- best of the series!
4.5 starsMoonlight Scandals definitely lived up to the expectations I had in my mind after finishing Gabe and Nikki's story Moonlight Seduction! Devlin and Rosie are the definition of opposites attracting, and their story was a great mix of suspense, humor, and heat as the author takes us on a wild ride of revelations and twists.I absolutely adore Rosie! She is strong, feisty and independent, and she is also no stranger to heartbreak after the death of her high school sweetheart husband Ian ten years ago. She responded to his loss by deciding to live her life to the fullest, embracing the opportunity to have fun at every turn and even earning 3 college degrees that she is trying to decide how to use. Rosie is also an active member of a paranormal investigation team. When one of her friends helps her reach out on the anniversary of Ian's death to try to contact him, she has an extremely interesting/ scary experience that just may be related to the infamous de Vincent family. Her first experience with Devlin de Vincent surprises her, but the second one infuriates her. When Gabe shows up on her doorstep to check on Nikki with Devlin in tow, Devlin displays his typical icy demeanor with a side of superiority and absolutely no indication he recalls meeting her the day before. Rosie is not going to let anyone walk all over her, much less stand in her apartment and insult her, so giving him a piece of her mind is no hardship for her! Devlin is shocked then amused and finds himself uncharacteristically intrigued by this woman.Devlin’s nickname is the Devil for good reason. He has ruthlessly protected both his family’s secrets and his brothers for many years, even if it means crossing lines and keeping his brothers in the dark for their own good. He is certainly a man in need of redemption based on his past actions, and Rosie is a shock to his system. She shows absolutely no fear of him, refuses to treat him like royalty and kiss his butt, and has exactly zero cares to give for his veiled threats and snotty comments. His early childhood experiences and his treatment at the hands of his father have left him emotionally stunted, and he is completely without a compass when it comes to how to react to the feelings Rosie is triggering. When I said the author takes us on a wild ride of revelations and twists, I meant make sure you are buckled in and paying attention because your mind is about to be blown! I love a good mystery, and I appreciate when a book can still shock and surprise me. Suffice it to say Moonlight Scandals delivered! The only minor detraction for me revolved around the haunting aspect of the story. After the big moments Rosie experienced at the onset of the story, it seemed as though it was going to be more connected to the main plotline- but in the end it was more superfluous than relevant. All in all, this was a highly enjoyable read and my favorite book in the series.

Delicious series set in New Orleans
3 wealthy brothers nicknamed Devil, Lucifer and Demon. Each falls in love. There's a bit of paranormal activity mixed with suspense and Insta love.

My favorite book of the series!
This was hands down my favorite book of the series. A large part of that may be due to the fact that I’m a sucker for a good enemies to lovers book. The chemistry between Rosie and Devlin is so hot that it practically jumps off the page. Rosie is such a great character. I love her tenacity and confidence and the fact that she refuses to let Devlin intimidate her like he does most people. Now my poor sweet Devlin. Ok, he’s not really sweet, but he’s been through a lot in his life and you don’t find out exactly how bad things were when he was a child until this book. Finding out just how much he’s been protecting his brothers over the years shows just how much of a good guy he really is, even if he doesn’t see it in himself. All of the character development aside, the story itself is so good! The mystery, the intrigue, the danger, and all of the secrets that come to light in this book are incredible. One twist that was revealed is something that I began suspecting in the second book but the full scope of it was still a bit mind blowing. I just absolutely loved this book. And if you listen to audiobooks, then do yourself a favor and listen to this one. It makes the banter between Rosie and Devlin even better.

I'm honestly still speechless...
Moonlight Scandals completely blew my mind. This book is the definition of unpredictable. You *think* you know where the story is going to go, and you *think* you know what all these secrets surrounding the de Vincent family and their past and businesses are, but in the famous words of Ygritte from Game of Thrones: You know nothing.Jennifer L. Armentrout clearly decided to end this series with a bang, and oh boy did she do just that for Devlin and Rosie's funny, romantic, yet hauntingly mysterious story. She'll keep you on the edge of your seat with secretive scenes she'll decide to unexpectedly throw our way that'll leave us questioning what it is we think we know, and she'll change a characters' tune so that we begin to second-guess them and their intentions. She'll have us laughing out loud at the banter between Rosie and Devlin one minute, and the next she's breaking our hearts with talks and memories of their tragic pasts. She'll gift us with more chemistry to an already chemistry-filled scene between them that had me CRAVING for something more to happen - because Moonlight Scandals is a slow-burn you guys; a sweet, torturous slow-burn of a story - but then a sudden change in the conversation would leave me speechless once again and craving for something else entirely: answers. To the many, many questions I had throughout reading this book. And just when I thought my mind couldn't be *more* blown than it was, my jaw *more* dropped, my heart beating *more* furiously in my chest... She suddenly and without warning drops bombshell after bombshell on us that near enough killed me over what it was that was revealed.Things I never in my wildest dreams saw coming.Things that instantly made Moonlight Scandals one of my favourite reads of this year so far.I'm STILL speechless at this book and at all that played out, so much so that I am truly surprised I've managed to get this many words out just to write this review. It ended in the best way possible, answered unanswered questions we may have had from Moonlight Sins and Moonlight Seduction, and all in all it just ended this series in a way that did it justice. If you loved the previous two books of this series, then I don't think you will be disappointed with this fantastically written conclusion. It was truly a spectacular read - one I devoured, one I LOVED, and one I did not want to see have to end.

Great
"Moonlight Scandals" is about Devlin de Vincent. It throws light on why he acts like he does. He is a handsome devil with a cold appearance, but unravelling his story is intriguing. The mysteries from the past are as enlightening as they are horrific and heartbreaking. In this we find out who he really is and what lies behind his actions.Rosie is a happy go lucky woman who herself has known pain in the past. She is a good match for Devlin. She gives as good as she gets and more. She has a sharp tongue and she is witty with it. He doesn't know what's hit him. Can she put all his broken pieces back together? It's a great romance with a hint of the supernatural. The banters are hilarious and the mysteries are unravelled with flair. The romance is sweet and despite everything that's gone before, it ends beautifully.

Seriously loved this book!!!
This is seriously the BEST book of the series and gives us all the answers and more along with quite a few shocks.Rosie and Devlin both have quick wit and sharp tongues when they need too and the pair together are so combustable when they argue together, and it was so good to see the normally level headed cool emotionless Dev react to Rosie poking at the bear.As more secrets are revealed i really did fall in love with Dev and how selflessly he had shielded his brothers from as much of the darkness around them as he could, the poor guy really deserved someone as warm as Rosie to bring him back into the light.Rosie has an infectious spirit and the way that she sticks up for Devlin was lovely even if at times she did not know everything about him yet. Her friend group also seems lovely and i really wanted to know more about Sarah. I hope their is a spin off book for her.Certainly some of the twists revealed can be guessed, but their certainly was one shocker towards the end that i did NOT see coming.

Let's dance with the Devil.
** spoiler alert ** Okay there's not really a "spoiler" spoiler in this, but I mention something near the end of the review that you won't know about until you read the book... soooooo there's that! When I started this series, I wasn't sure how I felt about it. The first book, for me, was a little on the weak side, the second slightly better, but the third - oh yeah, this one was perfect.I'm probably biased because I always like the darker characters, and Devlin has enough darkness to feed my twisted little soul. This book was perfect, wrapping up the little threads dropped throughout the other two books, and giving a conclusion that rocked.I'm kinda sorry the series is over (is it over?).Can we have Peyton's book.. just to round it up?

Third of the de Vincent boys. Devlin.
Took a while to get into this book, but it was worth it. Declan is a very deep character of the de Vincent clan. The eldest of the three brothers he has guarded, sheltered and protected them, resulting in one very sullen, almost mean character. Rosie a vey bubbly widow is the exact opposite of Devlin, but opposites can attract. Oh boy do they. Great to continue and see and hear more from Gabe and Lucian too. A story full of secrets, deep emotions, mistrust and ghostly experiences set in New Orleans. We discover new characters, such as Payton, Sarah and Bree. Characters that would be good to know, but that would be for another time. A great storyline. Well written and flows easily. As ever this author writes believable situations, in a very dynamic way. Well worth 5 stars
