Half of my dashboard went dark when a lamp blew out and the estimate was hundreds of dollars to get in and replace it. This was a 2002 Subaru and all I can say is, Subaru you are stupid! I mounted this in on the instrument ledge using a piece of 3M command strip and it's holding still. I added a resistor to lower the brightness and it works like a charm. I had a hard time finding lights in green. Everyone wants garish colors it seems. This color complements the dash perfectly and is not distracting. The wires are not anchored inside and the jacket pulls out of the case. I recommend putting some tenacious glue into the hole (like 'Goop') and allowing it to set before installation.

So as to get a more continuous/uniform pattern. It's pretty bright. But the two angled lights are just silly at way too much angle. Put a resistor in line, if you want it dimmer for night vision. We hooked it up with a 3 pos switch, one way with the resistor. Use a higher resistance than you might think. We didn't use enough,

smaller than expected. work well. can adjust voltage to adjust brightness; 6 to 12 VDC.

the picture is Very decieving, just got two and they are VERY small,the lights are fine and easy hookup but dont expect it to be very big :-) They must have taken the picture for the web desrciption with the camera Right in front of the lights,definitely Not worth the money :-)

Poorly constructed but very inexpensive. I ordered two of these and one was received in many pieces (not crushed but came apart). Wire pigtail is not strain relieved in any way and the wire jacket (insulation) is pulled out of the housing on both units.

It's sad not as dig as I thought it would be.

These lights are going to be perfect for my outdoor sauna! Very minimal battery draw, nice mellow lighting...what else could you ask for?
