Unfortunately however, the print on the red letter is very faint on the left hand pages, making it very difficult to read unless you are right under a light source. The black print is fine. I don't know if I just got a bad copy, but it is a bit disappointing. I love the size though, although its not comfort print as they have compromised on the white space between the lines to get the Bible so lovely and slimline. The cover is nice although it doesn't feel like goatskin, it is quite firm (so good for leaning on to write notes, but not soft and floppy like other goatskin Bibles).

Excellent. In one word. I've been struggling to find a bible that suits me for a while now. I have tried the cheap and the expensive and have been disappointed with them all. I'm possibly not an average bible user. I don't know what such a beast is to be honest! All I know is that I like simplicity. Two columns with centre column references, a decent concordance and the whole with print that's large enough to be read easily but not so big it's dominating. I also like leather, the real stuff, there's nothing like it for holding in my hands over the years a decent companion bible should last. I also prefer Smyth sewn for the way it opens and lies flat. No notes, no additions. I have Study bibles if I want to read one. This is just for daily use possibly with church too. I am genuinely grateful to be able to say that this is just what I have been looking for. Cons? I would be nit picking. A couple of small blemishes on the leather cover. The red text doesn't always line up completely accurately. Would prefer it without red text . . But I have a calfskin NKJV at three times the price that is nowhere near as well made . . Highly recommended.

I bought a black one and a pink one of these bibles for a couple of friends, and am quite happy with them. I'm posting the same review but with different pictures for both items as they are identical except for the covers.It's a good size to carry around, the print is surprisingly large considering the size of the book (some reviews say the print isn't large, but how large would you expect the print to be in a 6 x 4 inch bible?!). It has some decent labeled maps at the back, an attached ribbon bookmark, and the cover looks really nice, although it is nothing like real leather. The paper has a lovely silver edge, giving the appearance of quality. The 'red' font for words spoken by Jesus is more brown than red, but is still easily distinguishable from the black font.The bible comes with a kind of plastic card cover that slips over the bible. This is what is shown in the the seller image. It isn't a box, just a sleeve, and the longer edges of the bible overhang each end.I like these so much I'm tempted to get myself one.

For less than £10 - the quality of this little Bible has totally amazed me. The cover feels great in the hand and the crown of thorns looks great. The pages are decent thickness without much bleeding. Stitched fabric spine, and a ribbon. Then there is the text which for a small bible is larger than most and with red text for Words of Christ. Plus the concordance and maps.... For the price I cannot be but happy as I really did expect less for the money.

This Bible was bigger than I thought it would be. It has the old testament on black index & the new testament in red index. It has ribens for both testaments. Excellent Bible witch I fully recommend.

Don't let the Large Print fool you. The Main word is COMPACT. So even the Large Print is not the size I was expecting. I had to order another one making sure it was not compact.

A lovely light weight and compact sized Bible that I slip into my bag for my commute into work on the tube. I love the crown of thorns on the cover; it's a nice touch.
