TP2BR Butyl Double-Sided Aggressive Reinforced Black Butyl Rubber Vapor Barrier Tape 2"x50'

We had a section, about 20 feet, of our crawl space encapsulation falling down, I used this product to reattach the section. Very aggressive adhesive.

I through it would stick to cinder block wall

Used to adhere plastic to crawl space concrete walls.

Bought 5 rolls of this tape for my crawl space and 2 of the 5 rolls gave me trouble and had areas where the butyl material separated from the tape backing early. This is not a good thing due to how sticky this stuff is. I basically had to cut it out and start that section over. It looked like it happened to rolls with a flat side to the rolls (out of round). Unknown if it came off the shelf that way or if it happened in shipping. A real pain when you’re under a house sealing a crawl and this stuff comes apart on you.

It is difficult to separate the tape, if it sticks to itself.However, is works very well.I used it to tape plastic sheets over my RV windows and around the edges of the slide outs.I won't know if it will come off clean until next Summer; however, the claim is that it will come off without leaving behind any sticky/glue/residue

I needed a reinforced and aggressive adhesive butyl tape to seal 6mil poly sheeting for use in an in-garage media blast/paint booth.This product is super strong and super sticky, it completely sealed up a 10' x 18' x 7' structure.I tried at least 6 different products before finally locating and using this. Fantastic stuff!!

Used to encapsulate Crawl space,I had no problems it worked great.

I purchased 4 rolls to put in a vapor barrier in my crawl space. As others noted, the tape separates from the backing before you can even get it tacked to the surface you want it on. It sticks very well to skin! I could not get it to stick consistently to concrete blocks or bricks. Blocks were dry. Some bricks were damp. It would not stick enough to be useful. Got tired of fighting it. The remaining 3 rolls are going back.
