works great
I'm actually using this for a cats drinking fountain and it's working very well. Cut to size and use with the white layer (bought separate). So much cheaper than buying super expensive cat fountain filters.

Love this product
For years I had used previously made filter media, I had previously used this for an odd shaped filter cartridge that I couldn't find anymore. Then switched to using it in all my tanks. This media pad is so much more efficient than standard pads, the design has more surface area than a flat pad, this allows it to catch more debis than its standard counterparts. This in turn makes it last much longer. This product is also very easy to rinse out and reuse. Definitely recommend and will definitely buy again.

Long used product
Have used this produce for 5 years - never a problem that it is not good for the fish safety.

Good Filter
One package contains enough product (Pollutant reducing media pad or filter) to make two 9 inch diameter filters for our fish pond. There are maybe 2-3 too many fish in the pond--it is small. So I am having to either clean or replace the filter much more often that anticipated. This is the prefect solution right now. So much better than $19 per 9 inch filter!

I bought this for a different reason.
I bought this for a different reason. I cut them into smaller squares and place in the filter holder on my kitchen compost bin. These are more rugged and cost effective than the filters sold for that purpose.

Love this stuff
Love this stuff. It's a lot less messy than carbon and I use it in both my canister filter and my two Fluval Specs. Just cut it down and you're good. I also use it in my window fan to help filter out the cigarette smoke from the neighbors below us. :D

It came as advertised ... works well and is easy to modify for your filters ... when it comes to modifying my filters to be as efficient as possible and this is one of the products I use for that.
