MUST have for new breastfeeding mommas!!
I tried all the “hacks” to improve my milk production and this tea is the only tried and true thing that worked for me! It tastes super good (specially with some honey) and this 3 pack is a GREAT value.

This tea works, really increases milk supply
I don’t really know how this tea works but I know it does. My baby is 9 months old now and I have been able to exclusively breastfeed him. I started taking this tea when low dose birth control was causing terrible side effects for me. I switched back to my normal OBC, but I realized very quickly that the estrogen in the normal OBC was decreasing my milk supply, so I reached for this tea. It was nothing short of a miracle! It boosted my milk supply within 12 hours and kept it up if I continue to drink it. It basically counteracts the effect of estrogen in the OBC. My supply is not as plentiful as it was in the beginning but this tea helps me keep breastfeeding my baby, so it’s worth it. Each bag of tea is not particularly strong so you can’t brew it twice. I end up drinking two bags a day, usually with honey. If you’ve tried everything to boost your supply, I would suggest trying this herbal tea. It’s been a lifesaver for me!

Helped my milk production in three days
My first baby is 9 months old and my milk started drying up. I could go all day without nursing or pumping and wouldn’t feel full or leak at all. I had wanted to go to a year with nursing so I worked harder at drinking water and nursing consistently, but it wasn’t helping. Finally I purchased this. I couldn’t find it in my local grocery store and thought it was a little expensive on here, but I’ve been drinking a cup twice a day and three days in, I can tell a difference. I felt full this morning for the first time in weeks. It doesn’t taste super great, like some of my teas, but that’s not the point so I don’t mind. It claims to “promote healthy lactation” and it does.

Much better as a chai latte!
I'll start with that I hate anise and anything flavored like it. I cannot drink this tea by itself, but my milk had been decreasing and I needed to make it work. So I thought why not turn it into a chai latte? This is what I do:- This tea (1 bag)- Stevia (or date syrup or anything sweet)- Cinnamon (powdered, a pinch)- 2/3 cup hot water- 1/3 cup Nutpod's oat vanilla creamer (if any substitute used here, I also add a drop or 2 of vanilla extract) - when I'm not lazy, I'll froth the creamer and drink with foam. And this is soooo good, I can easily drink 3 cups a day instead of another latte 🙂As far as milk production, I cannot make a clear statement on that, tbh. At least not right now. I took all measures I could think of all at the same time as soon as I realized I didn't have enough milk: started wearing a looser bra, eating oatmeal with flaxseed meal and nuts every morning, started making little raw "lactation cookies" and eating a lot of those, and drinking more water, and massaging in warm/hot water, and cut off chewing gums (although, not for long), postponed work and tried to sleep more, and of course latching on as much as possible. Something worked (pretty well). My guess is it was a combination. Now I'm having this problem again, but I haven't been consistent with the routine (except for water and latching as much as possible), and also ran out of this tea and didn't drink any while the next order was on the way for a couple of weeks. Now I'm on my 3rd pack and after I started having oatmeal for breakfast again, the milk situation is gradually getting better. I also do eat a lot of nuts. Here's how I make my raw "lactation cookies":- rolled oats (1 cup)- flaxseed meal (1/2 cup)- coconut flakes (1/2 cup)- almond butter (2/3 cup to a whole cup)- dried cherries (1/3 cup)- cocoa nibs (1/3 cup)- maple syrup or agave nectar (1/3 cup)- vanilla extract (1 tsp)- cinnamon (a pinch or two)Combine everything in a bowl, if more moisture is needed to make the mass stick, add a little raw coconut oil. Form little balls or cookies, roll them in coconut flour or raw cocoa powder and put in the freezer for about an hour, then move to the fridge or let stand for 5-10 minutes before eating. Top with a Luxardo cherry and some syrup. Enjoy with your tea. Yum!

Helped My Supply
My mom got me some of this tea right after I had my daughter. At that point I wasn't having much of a supply issue, but after 12 weeks when I started regulating and she started sleeping longer stretches at night, I noticed I wasn't outputting as much when I pumped. I was worried I was dropping my supply and wanted to try to get it back up. Even if I don't pump at all during the day (just nurse), I always pump at night after she goes to bed to drain my breasts. At one point I was under 2 ounces and was really concerned. I notice that on the days I'm better about drinking this tea, I can get almost 4 ounces. So it definitely seems to help. So if you're having issues with your supply, it's definitely worth a shot to try this tea out. It's annoying that it has to steep for 10-15 minutes but whatever...it helps so I deal with it ha.

Soooo many farts !
This tea tastes and smells like black licorice which I don’t mind because I’m a tea drinker and have had way worse lol. I notice ppl saying it gives the baby gas etc but from what I’ve gathered so far I’m the one with terrible gas she seems to be doing fine but me on the other hand smh! I mean it’s not painful but dang it if I haven’t been tooting and pooting within an hour after each drink (day 3 of 1 daily drink at night) for an hour or 2 after. I notice a slight increase in milk supply from pumping maybe 1 oz both breasts to pumping about 3 oz from both every 2/3 hrs and after feeding. I’m unsure if it’s from this tea or my other tea which I drink in the morning so I will update with progress.
