Lotus Biscoff Spread, 400g

If you've just stumbled across this product, and are wondering if it could possibly be as good as it sounds - IT IS. It is so wonderful that it went straight back onto our shopping list after it arrived as someone (It might've been me...) sat with a teaspoon and ate it from the jar the moment they'd opened the parcel. We can find this in some very specific Sainsburys but have struggled, and it's no more expensive here than at the supermarket. Well worth it, your tastebuds will thank you! We received our first jar as a present for my biscuit-loving fiancée, and it is a great present for biscuit lovers if they haven't come across it!

I bought this, at £2.29 as an add-on item, mainly because I was curious to find out exactly what it was/how it tasted. I love the biscuits so thought I'd give it a go. On receiving it, I tasted it from the jar and found it to be .... delicious! It is quite thick to eat straight from the jar (though it's so yummy!) but I couldn't quite get my head around eating it on toast, crumpets etc. After a few weeks with me having a sneaky half-teaspoon here and there, I decided I really should try it on warm buttered toast before I dismiss the idea entirely. I'm converted. The warmth of the toast thins down the spread and makes it a better consistency. I will definitely eat it like this from now on.

I bought this when browsing the 'Subscribe & Save' section one day. I love the biscuits (you know, the ones in the little red packets that are commonly served with coffee) so I thought I'd give this a go. This might be the most delicious substance in a jar known to man. A little goes a long way, and it's wonderful spread on hot toast. It melts and has the stickiness of peanut butter, but is so sweet and biscuity! Try it and before long you'll be eating it with a spoon like the terrible person you are.

No idea who would have thought of this but it's delicious! It's a spread made from the yummy Lotus biscuits you get with your coffee in cafes...I know, sounds weird but do give it a go. They suggest to use it as a spread and you would be amazed how good that is, but my son makes 'ants on a log' with it (take a stick of celery, fill the groove with Lotus spread and stick on raisins) which is also strangely good and a cool way to get celery down him! He knows how to take weird and raise it...

Well worth a try, delicious and crunchy

It's ok, although really, really sweet and sickly. I've had the jar for 6 weeks now and only used the first inch up as you need the thinnest layer. Thought I'd love it as I adore the biscuits and always try to gobble up everyone else's when we have coffee, but it's just not the same. I'll stick to the biscuits in future.

I wasn't blown away, but this is a nice little product. I've never had Lotus biscuits before, but to me this just tastes like digestives (which is a good thing!). Kind of like the base of a homemade cheesecake or something :) it's a nice change from chocolate spread, so great if you feel like switching it up. I think it'd be good on croissants, and maybe ice cream or stuff like that. I'll have to experiment as I did only get it yesterday! Wouldn't recommend it on toast though; I know other people have but for me it just didn't go . . . maybe because toast is quite dry and this is also a pretty dry / thick spread? Either way, the combination wasn't my cup of tea.

But a little pricey and the taste is quite subtle

Very quick delivery and the product was in perfect shape. My wife loved the cookie paste for her baking. I will definitely be ordering again. 10 out of 10 would recommend
