Use the right amount!
I like the minty smell it has but when you apply it, it tastes gross. It’s pretty thick which I don’t mind too much but I have a hard time wearing it due to the taste. EDIT: before I was putting wayyy too much on. I was applying straight from the tube onto my lips. I started applying using my finger to control how much I wanted and had a much better time. With only a thin layer on my lips were protected from the sun and I didn’t have the issue of the gross taste. My husband and I used this while on our honeymoon in Punta Cana and it worked great. It’s one of my favorite products now and highly recommend.

Works great!
I struggle with dry lips, so I bought this for a beach trip. Hands down one of the best lip balms that I’ve ever used! Doesn’t leave the weird white film, smells great, kept my lips feeling hydrated, and protected my lips from the sun. 10/10 would recommend.

Love the spf but it does leave an odd taste in your mouth if you accidentally get some in there.

So. So. Bad. Just Awful.
I've purchased other Supergoop spf skincare, so I thought this would be the same quality. So. Wrong. This lip balm has an absolutely rancid taste of spf chemicals in your mouth that just lingers. Buy anything else. There's no mint flavor just chemicals. They really messed up with this one. I tried putting it on different ways, like not getting too close to the inner lips (I know that's crazy for a lip gloss)... Nothing helps. Actually what helped was tossing it in the trash. I won't waste money on their spf lip glosses again.
