Print quality not as sharp as factory laser print cartridge.

At half the cost of buying the OEM Samsung brand for my Samsung printer, I'm getting the exact same quality prints! The printed pages don't smear or run, the ink is dark, and I honestly can't tell the difference from the name brand Samsung toner I was using before. The only downside is that there is no preaddressed or prepaid label included in the box (like many other companies) that provide an easy way to send in the old used toner for recycling, so I was on my own for figuring that out. I just took my old cartridge to work and gave it to the supplies manger to add to the recycle pile.

The only reason for not giving a 5 star rating has to do with product quality. When printing any items with lite to dark grayscale backgrounds (think table headers, highlighted tables, etc) you get a banding effect. LD Products did send me a replacement very promptly when I contacted them, but the replacement did not cure the issue. Knowing that the cost is considerably less expensive than the manufacturers cartridge, and the fact that I don't print that much or have to deal with grayscale backgrounds, it is not a problem for me. All text - even very small text (very important to me) comes out crisp and clear. Even on lower quality paper. I did keep the cartridge and would purchase this same product from LD again in the future. It would be nice if they could find a solution to the banding though. I was a little worried about purchasing a non-Samsung brand toner cartridge for my Samsung ML-3312ND printer. I slipped toner cartridge into my printer and printed out test page. Printer immediately recognized it as being 100% full. I'd buy LD Products toner for my Samsung printer again. I took one star off since I don't' know how many pages I'll get out of this cartridge. But price was about 1/3 the price of Samsung brand toner. I had to turn the "toner save" on printer to "off" and "darkness" on printer to "normal" for best results. These settings are in "Graphics" tab in "Printer preferences." Appears to be as good as original Samsung brand.

head line says it all. I used to manage a Kinko's and hated generic toner...but am trying this one. Will follow up if it disappoints.It's been in the printer for a little over a month. At first I had a few stray lines on prints; horizontal "smudges" on the paper. Not terrible for most uses, but we were about to print 500+ pages of billing statements, so I was mildly concerned. After about 25 pages of internal paperwork the "smudges" went away and the statements looked just fine. I have the printer running in economy mode but everything looked good. If I get the number of prints I expect it will have been a great buy. I'll let you know if I buy it again!

Before installing, I compared it with the original toner side by side. There are some fine details that are less polished than the original, but overall it looks solid and well designed. Installation was very easy. I followed the instruction: pull the paper tab out, shake the toner and inserted into the printer. It was recognized immediately, and printouts are no difference from what I used to get with original toner. I am not giving it 5 stars only because I don't know if it can last as promised.

I used this to replace the original starter toner in my Samsung. I had no issues with it at all. When I installed it I didn't even get the toner flakes on me which I have come accustomed to with non OEM toner replacements. It gave a great print on the first page and has been rock solid ever since. I am now about halfway through it and have had no troubles. As for the page quality I can't discern any noticeable difference between this and the OEM that I used. When I first purchased it I compared one of the items printed from each. Then attempted to smudge them both. They gave the same results and neither had any reasonable issue. This was a great way to save money and being a college student sure beats the ridiculous on campus printing fees.

I own two Samsung ML-3312ND Printers and this Toner works Perfectly.My print quality is exactly the same as when I used the Samsung MLT-D205L 5K OEM Toner Cartridges.I print about 5,000 pages a month and have been very impressed with this product.I also recommend  HP Paper, Laserjet Poly Wrap, 24lb, 8.5 x 11, 98 Bright, 2500 Sheets / 5 Ream Case (115300C) Made In The USA  if you can't find a paper you like or having issues with your current paper. It is brighter then most papers I have used and been 100% jam free for about 15,000 pages so far!
