When Attack Shark first started to rise in popularity a few years ago I was skeptical of the brand. I assumed it would be cheap parts and bad quality. In the past I have used Razer keyboards like my last which was a Razer Huntsman Mini analog which was also Hall effect. Bear in mind when I bought the Razer keyboard it was almost FOUR TIMES the price of this Attack Shark. I am annoyed at myself for not switching sooner. I am not being paid to say this but if you are debating between this keyboard and a bigger named one, go with this one. When buying a Hall effect keyboard you know you are going to be sacrificing sound quality and feel for the competitive edge of lower actuation points. However, attack shark have not only made a keyboard with better switches than the Razer in terms of actuation points, but also sound. This is such a nice thocky sounding keyboard. It is beyond smooth and has great stabilisers. I usually mod my keyboards to sound better but the Attack Shark already sounds incredible, it has a dense pad inside to get rid of any cheap sounds, it comes pre lubed and has the least amount of idle keycap wobble I’ve had on any keyboard. The value for money here is impressive, I don’t know how AS have cut costs so much on such an expensive feeling keyboard. On top of all that it has Windows and Mac OS switch for compatibility on both. A good thing about it having the strap attachment too is that you can get cheap replacements if you don’t like the default attack shark one. So many sites sell cheap replacement ones for the Wooting that also fit this keyboard like I have. Last thing is the software, there is none, and that’s the best bit. Attack Shark are on top even on drivers, especially compared to Logitech and Razer. You don’t need to install a thing. All settings including RGB, Key actuation, snap tap, driver updates, can all be done on Attack Sharks web driver. So no installing dodgy software that will take up resources for nothing. I would recommend this keyboard to literally anybody, office typing to fully competitive gaming. I think Attack Shark are slowly becoming one of the better end brands for such affordable prices, people just haven’t realised it yet because they haven’t given it a go for themselves.
