Buckle up for this review i've got A LOT to say and my boss is working from home:I recently tried using the Rustoleum chalk paint on my kitchen table...it was awful. I had to add sooooo much water to the paint to make the brush stroke go farther than 3 inches. The table looks hilariously bad...like we dipped my dogs tail in white oil paint and got her to wag it on, or dipped her in a bucket of dissolved chalk and olive oil and scrubbed it on with her limp body. (I do not let me beloved pet near paint fyi)But THIS STUFF...this beautiful, beautiful stuff transformed this nasty, sad old pine cabinet I bought from a recent divorcee in South London (she's fine now, better off really, thanks for asking) and transformed it into.......this elegant drinks cabinet that looks like it just put down Khloe Kardashians "Revenge Body" book, and like a bat out of hell has hit the gym and green juice HARD.I know you're thinking, geeez is this worth the cost? My second-hand furniture was only £4 and now I'm splurging on this? Let me alleviate your concerns:A) I bought a litre and did two coats on the pictured cabinet and have enough left for at least two more cabinets. Gonna be rainin' DIY up in hurr.B) The title says it all. Painting with this stuff is so satisfying it's like watching 14 slime videos on instragram without blinkingC) It looks professional. No brush strokes. Dried super fast. Varnished it with Ronseal internal clear gloss varnish. (Top is Everbuild Satin Walnut stain - 2 coats and varnish!)D) I posted the transformation on my insta story and got 10...yes TEN Dm's from it. T-E-N. Think about that. It's a cabinet, and I'm 27. The people love the paint.E) it took only a couple hours...I have no patience and I want immediate results and this delivered.

Used this to spruce up my kitchen door cupboards.Paint goes on very easily and is great to work with.Dries in 30 minutes.Took the doors off the cupboards to paint.I painted 8 doors and 3 drawer units.All have been given 2 coats and have just under half a tin left.Doors look great now they have had 2 coats.They do need finishing off with a wax to protect from scatching and chipping and to give them a gloss look.Amazing value for money and fast delivery.Came earlier than expected.

This is such a Fantastic paint!! I Love using it, no horrible smells, it’s So easy to apply and even dries quite quick, great coverage and goes a long way, gorgeous colours to choose from and worth every penny! I tried it once before and that’s why I’ve come back and will again when needed!!

I will preface this by saying it was my first time using chalk paint so the issues I had were possibly my fault. The paint was lovely to apply, went on really smoothly the first time. The colour I used was French Grey and it is beautiful- a perfect grey with only a very slight blue tone under certain lighting. I bought a 1l tin which did 2 coats on the table and 5 chairs. I have marked it down by one star on ease to use as the second coat was harder to apply and seemed really porous. The finish initially was perfect but I opted to use a clear varnish after some research and that's when the paint seemed to go streaky and was removed in places meaning I had to touch it up. I am happy with the final result- the wood underneath the painted bits was a mahogany colour (I only sanded to top of the table) so the coverage was really good. The product also arrived really quickly and was well packaged.

Really liked this paint so bought it twice.It goes on so smooth and easily and a tiny bit goes so far. It glides on so much better and nicer than emulsion. It dries super fast and ready for a second coat and that is all I needed...however you do need to wax or varnish it after or it marks easily.

I love this paint. I have used several of the beautiful colours now and it never disappoints. It is so easy to apply and I have had great success in painting even very dark pieces of furniture without any need for a primer, in only two coats. Lighter furniture I have sometimes managed with one coat. A little goes a long way. I do use recommended chalk paint brushes and everything cleans up very easily. I have also used outside on wooden planters and even metal furniture and it holds up very well. I love the fact that there are no VOCs and no odour and it is made in the UK. The customer service is superb too, really helpful and friendly, and the delivery is swift. I highly recommend on all counts.

It’s ok but is actually bright white ( not what I expected from colour on screen) . It’s very thick so it dries as you’re trying to paint. I haven’t done any effects yet . It’s better than using gloss etc but not as easy as french chic easy paint. Gives a nice effect depending on how you want your stuff to look.
